No surprises

Shawn was terrific to work with. When signing day came, there were no surprises . Everything was exactly the way we had talked about. Fun office, would recommend to anyone!

Thanks for your review, Charlie!

Would not recommend AutoSource

AutoSource – In my opinion, the most poorly run business and worst customer service in car dealerships. January 2020  Prior to purchasing the car which I liked, the salesman had us watch two videos of the detailed process their cars undergo prior to placing them on the lot. It was an impressive video and suggested that you are buying a like-new car, inside and out because of all the inspections that had been taken. They gut, clean, and repair the interior of the car, including all electrical. (I do have electrical issues). The drivetrain is inspected; all the fluids are drained and refilled with new fluid. It supposedly goes through a~150-point test.  The sales manager later told my ex-husband that the videos are for marketing purposes and they do not always do all those things.  They have the WORST service department I have ever dealt with.  They do not return calls or fulfill promises. I bought an AWD car on January 28th, 2020 and drove it back to Idaho Falls from Boise that night in a snowstorm. I was sliding all over the road because it would not go into AWD. I was essentially driving a rear wheel car on slick roads. I tried to contact AutoSource the next day without any response from them. As I continued to drive the car, several warning lights came on, “Chassis stabilization”, “Consult nearest service center” “Replace brake pads”, “Battery Low, keep driving to recharge or replace”. When I finally reached a live person at AutoSource, Daniella who recommended that I take it into the BMW garage for diagnostics to look at codes. I took it into BMW in Idaho Falls, who was able to diagnose it correctly. That cost me $146. The transfer case had failed. The replacement cost was $4000 on this 2015 BMW that only had a total of 16,000 miles on it. They also said that it needed brake pads and rotors. I could not get through to a service person at AutoSource for two weeks. When they finally responded, among other things, they required a “picture” of the fluid from the transfer case before they would consider service. BMW tore my car apart again to get pictures of the fluid. BMW reported they have NEVER before had anyone make this bizarre request. After several attempts to contact customer service for help, AutoSource then requested another mechanic in town to diagnose the car. Again, they required pictures of the same fluid that BMW had already submitted along with photos of the codes that were showing. We were told that all AutoSource vehicles have all the fluids drained at their facility and replaced with new but the mechanic showed us the fluid and he stated that with all of the metal that was in the transfer case fluid, there is no way that it had been replaced. Once AutoSource finally acknowledged responsibility for the transfer case, they sent a SALVAGE part from a wrecking yard. They refused to let the repair facility get one which could be obtained overnight. After several days, the part finally arrived, and they had shipped a front differential rather than a transfer case. It had to be returned and another transfer case ordered. Again, several days lapsed before another transfer case was sent. The mechanic installed the transfer case only to find that it had to be taken back to the BMW dealership to be programmed. It was then determined that the replacement transfer case was also faulty and so a third one must be ordered. The AutoSource facility in Woods Cross, UT finally agreed to order a new transfer case from BMW which is what they should have done in the first place. After it was installed, it had to go back to the BMW dealership to be programmed. THIRTEEN weeks later, after NINE trips to the automotive repair shop and BMW, many hours taken off work to take the car in, dozens of mostly unreturned phone calls later, on April 30th, I finally got my car back. They refused to replace the brake pads because, according to them, that is normal wear. If the mileage shown was true it only had 16,000 miles on it. We

Solid interaction

Recently purchased the car and so far so good. I worked with Dillon and he put up with me well. He answered all my particular interests, questions, and concerns. I never felt pressured during the process and they are very open about the car, repairs, and in trying to meet my needs. Really solid buying experience.
