They jacked up the price of a vehicle that i was looking

They jacked up the price of a vehicle that i was looking at. I had an appointment to see it at the lower price. I didn’t know that the dealer could do that. I was going to trade my ram truck in on the one advertised and then I noticed that the dealer had increased the price. I will now take my business to a dealer that I can trust . I have had 6 ram trucks but my latest experience has me thinking about changing to another name.As far as I am concerned,this will be a black mark on Chryslers name.Thank you for allowing me to voice my opinion. your words against their words

My wife and I bought the car beginning of January, my wife sign bank documents on 01.11.2023. I wanted go to my work with Elantra GT on 23th January (it was my first time to drive) but when I tried to turn on AC, car just started to pump ‘exhaust gas’ insight of the car than I turned off the AC. When I wanted to pas TTC Bus but it didn’t accelerate and didn’t shift at all, It was so scarry. Anyway, I reach my office at that day. While coming back to home, I realized a strange sound it was like pouring down desert sand on a metal. I made research online and these problems cause of 2 sperate malfunctions which are ‘’Flexi pipe exhaust’’ and ''transmission''. I wrote an email to our sales rep Mr. on 24th of January. He replied back that we should talk to Service Manager Mark. He asked me to bring car back to check it. I brought it back to dealer office and same day they called me and said that they fixed the car. I thank on the phone. When I take it back I realized that they solved exhaust issue but they didn’t fix transmission. I brought it back and Mark told me that: Service technician drove the car and he couldn’t find a problem. I asked technician to drive with me. Technician and I hit the road front of the dealer office which is 3 line road, when we get on the road after 150 meters car Stopped in middle line (Cars behind me honking yelling. I scared a lot) and technician said its not normal but we started the car again and continued to drive and tested on highway and technician said several times its not driving normal and we brought back to Service door to fix it. They didn’t call me for 1 week, I was thinking that solving transmission is a hard thing that’s why they are not calling me, they are working on it. I called them to get update it was 7th of February and Service Mager Mark told me that ''There is nothing wrong with the transmission'' I was shocked and send Ali (Sales Rep) on 7th of Feb He said he will be off, please call manager Tara or William. I called them they didn’t pick up both of them and I left a message to William but he didn’t call back. I went to dealer and talked to Mark. I couldn’t convince him that there is a problem with transmission. I asked him would you accept another authorities diagnose of the problem and he said'' yes I accept other authorities diagnose'' I book a reservation on 14th Feb ''Downtown Hyundai'' service. In their report COMPLAINT: CHECK AND REPORT: TRANSMISSION DOESNT SHIFT ON TIME AND ACCELERATION DIAGNOSTIC FEE $155.00 + TAX CAUSE: TOOK THE VEHICLE ON ROAD TEST AND NOTICED THAT IT TOOK LONGER THAN USUAL TO SHIFT INTO NEXT GEAR AND SOMETIMES IT WOULD JERK WHEN SHIFTING. CHECK THE FLUID LEVELS, IT WAS OKAY AND THE FLUID LOOK FRESH. TRIED RESETING THE ADAPTIVE VALUES AND AFTER DOING ANOTHER ROAD TEST THE CAR DROVE THE SAME. NOTICED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD NEXT TO NO COOLANT IN THE RESEVIOR. I WOULD RECOMMEND THE CUSTOMER GO BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP THAT THEY BOUGHT THE CAR FROM AND LET THEM KNOW THAT THE TRANSMISSION IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY AND SEE IF THEY CAN REPLACE IT OR COVER THE COST TO REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION . I brought this report to Islington Chrysler Service Manager Mark and he said that they used the word ''Recommend'' it not like ''Must''. I called back Downtown Hyundai/Catherine Alberts told me that ''recommend'' means that they need to replace the transmission, it is just terminology in this industry. Anyway, report states that transmission is not working properly. THE TRANSMISSION IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. Islington Crysler offered us to replace the transmission but We will be paying for majority of the cost. My wife and I newcomer, we don’t know law here but my friends told me to write it on OMVIC and also social media. I am doing it, I need help please. I can share all emails and of course Downtown Hyundai report that states THE TRANSMISSION IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY.

Dave and the team at Islington Chrysler are excellent. As a first time RAM buyer I had many questions and Dave had all the answers. The level of customer service, including genuinely caring about the customer, the attention to detail and knowledge of Dave and the rest of the team was very impressive. Ingrid is an excellent financial services manager and Dave is an excellent sales agent. I will be returning to Islington Chrysler and will send any family and friends looking for a new or used vehicle to Dave. Great job and thank you both for all your help.

My experience at Islington Chrysler was amazing.

My experience at Islington Chrysler was amazing. David was very friendly and helpful. Went on a test drive and noticed a squeaking sound, he immediately agreed and ensured it would get fixed prior to me taking it. The dealership informed me every step of the way while they repaired the noise. Would recommend this dealership to anyone buying new or pre-owned. Thanks Guys!
