I purchased a 2021 Subaru Forester from Balkan Motors in Rochester. When I picked it up, it had not been cleaned and seats were stained. I took off the next day for a trip out west. I got to Illinois, and the wind was bouncing the hood of the car so badly we were afraid it was gonna fly up into the windshield. On the way back we had a complete blowout of the back tire. Come to find out they never gave us the special key to change the tire, which then had to be towed to an overnight station. Back on the road in the morning and that night the other back tire blew out. Same scenario, no special key to change the tire. Another expensive overnighter. Once back home, they told me to go to Delta Sonic and have the upholstery cleaned and they would reimburse, which I did. It took three phone calls and a threat of small claims court for them to reimburse the $85. I got rid of that car right away. I spoke to Selma, part owner, about canceling my warranty I purchased for $1650. She told me three different times it was canceled and I would be getting a refund. GWC warranty was saying she is wrong and I wasn’t getting any of my money back. This brings me to a small claims court because of false information, no spare tire key, and non-payment until threatened after three attempts. Balkan also doesn’t have their own maintenance/service dept; they send it out for services.
