Beware of these scoundrels!
These people are scoundrels. They sold a car with major wiring issues due to a previous accident to a 19 year old girl who does not have a support system. Car was brought back to them in 3 days for the wiring issue. They said they could not find anything wrong. When issue continued to happen, car was brought back to them but they sent it to a Toyota dealership. Toyota dealership wants $4K+ to fix the problem that the car had when it was sold. The car was purchased 6 months ago and they did not do any favors with the price. Now another $4K to get this lemon on the road. The manager will not return phone calls and his voicemail box is full. Contacting Consumer Affairs and filing a small claims suit. Save yourself the trouble and go to a reputable dealership tied to a new car dealership. These used car only dealerships will screw you every time.

Exceptional Dealer!!
It was by far the best experience I have ever had buying a car! Everyone was very professional and up front. No haggling and all paperwork and DMV were taken care of! Instead of wasting my whole day,which is always the case, I was in and out within 2 hours!!! Fabulous place, fabulous people.

Awesome experience
By far the most simple and easiest car buying experience I’ve EVER had at a dealership. I called the Newton location and got Tom on the phone we had a great conversation about the truck I found on the internet. I made the appointment and when I arrived the next day he had the truck packed up front waiting for me with the door open and the keys on the seat. I took the truck for a test drive. When I came back to the lot I was introduced to Albert. He took me to the office and in 10 min had the deal done with a handshake. 1/2 hour later I was driving home in my new truck. Will definitely recommend the dealer to all my friends and family. Tom And Albert are top notch and they take the horrors out of buying a used car

They sold my son a lemon
12/27/21 Purchased 2014 VW Jetta TDI for $20,136.95 including tax and registration. We put $5,000 cash down and $1,000 trade in and financed $14,136.95 through Capital One. The car had a dealer warranty that states the dealer will pay 100% of the labor and parts for 2,000 miles or 60 days. When we purchased the car, Justin, our sales rep told us that all of the cars are inspected and clean. The temporary registration expired on 1/26/22. We were supposed to get the car inspected as soon as we got the plates. March 18, 2022 (almost 3 months after we purchased the car) – we finally received license plates for the car after making dozens of calls to the dealership. My son was pulled over at least five times by the police for not having the proper registration, inspection and plates. March 20, 2022 – Went to get car inspected but noticed that the Diesel Particle filter (regen) light was on. He was researching and did the regen and drove the car as suggested by the manufacturer to try to turn the light off. That didn’t work. 3/27/22 – Car broke down. Transmission seemed dead. Had the car towed back to our house. 3/28/22 – Towed the car back to Northway Automotive wanting them to fix the car. They said that it needed a clutch and wanted to charge us approximately $2,200 to repair it and said they would give us $500 towards it. They told us that they would not be able to look at the diesel particle filter light issue until they fixed the clutch and the car was drivable. We decided to bring the car to our own mechanic. Towed the car back home. 3/30/22 – Towed the car to our mechanic and he told us that he took out the clutch, but the clutch was not faulty. However, he found that the car was slowly leaking transmission fluid, probably since it came off the line and it would have been severely low when we purchased the car. The mechanic said there is no way anyone checked the fluids in the car before they sold us the car. Northway Automotive should have seen the issue when they checked the car over. We had to order a rebuilt transmission from VW and wait for it to come in from Germany. My son went without a car for over a month. 5/2/22 – Paid $4,330.04 for the new transmission (includes $65 for work on the diesel particle filter issue, but it did not resolve). Northway gave us $1500 towards the repair. 5/2/22 – Brought the car to inspection and failed due to overall emissions – diesel particle filter light was on. (See vehicle inspection report) 5/3/22 – Brought the car to VW service for the diesel particle filter light. 5/10/22 – picked up car. The diesel particle filter light was still on. Made an appointment to bring the car back to VW Dealer on May 17. 5/13/22 – Had to replace all brake pads and brake caliper with bracket. Paid $350 for parts and did labor ourselves. 5/17/22 – brought the car back to VW service for the diesel particle filter light. 6/3/22 – Picked up the car. The diesel particle filter light is still illuminated. The car is not drivable again and cannot pass inspection. The dealership performed the suggested actions from the manufacturer under warranty. We now have to change the fans for over $1300. In the 2010’s, Volkswagen was forced to buy back VW diesels and fix their emissions-cheatings software and parts. The diesel particle filter (regen) has to do with the fix. This car was fixed under that recall, however, there is clearly an issue. We would have known this within the warranty period had we received the license plates on time and were able to bring the car for inspection within the warranty period. Northway DID NOT do a thorough check of this car before we purchased it.

Buyer beware public service announcement
Was lied to after making a deal. They tried to get me for an extra $1431 dollars. On the website it states $795 for these DOC fees we were paying sales tax and registration so there was no fees Now I am fighting to get back my $500 credit card balance. They want my card number to give return. Don't trust them after the games they played. Everyone I talked to in my opinion was rude. Shop elsewhere and save yourself the headache. I will be filing a consumer report tomorrow for deseption and not issuing my money back. This is my opinion and accurate accounts of what took place today buyer beware

They sold the vehicle right before my appointment
Called this morning and made an appointment to see a particular vehicle at 5:30PM. Drove over 2 hours round trip to find out they SOLD the vehicle less than a half hour before my appointment to drive and ultimately buy said vehicle. Following up with "we tried to reach out to you" which was a phone call 15 minutes prior to my arrival that I didn't answer because I was driving on mountain rodes. The manager told me "well this is the car business" no that's dishonest and disrespectful to your customers. Which I guess is unfortunately the car business. Then they say "are you interested in anything else". Absolutely not and why would I have any desire to give my money to your company. Giant waste of time driving to the middle of no where. Don't waste your time trying to make an appointment or expecting any of their inventory you want to be in stock.

Deceiving don’t waste your time
It is impossible to get in touch with them. My daughter wanted to see a car. She worked so hard and saved for so long. My husband finally got in touch with someone and they said the car was available and to come up. My husband and daughter left our family party early to see the car. My daughter fell in love with it. He wanted to put the deposit down and suddenly a family showed up from PA who had an appointment. They wouldn’t sell us the car. My husband told them he couldn’t get in touch with them to even make an appointment. These other people hadn’t even made a deposit. Danielle is awful and the communication is terrible. My daughter left crying.
