I went in for an oil change.

I went in for an oil change. Part of the service was the 16 Point Inspection, which included Adjusting Tire Pressure. Which they did adjust, and it was supposed to be done right and with no issues to the tires as per the results. AS SOON AS I LEFT the dealership, the Tire Pressure Gauge turned ON. I didn't think much of it, figured I'd refill the next day or hopefully would turn off after a bit. Maybe sensors need time to adjust, they didn't. By the second day of driving, my tire BLEW OUT. I had to buy a brand new tire elsewhere, because this dealership would not take responsibility or help out. They offered a Discounted Tire, at a cost of $225 from the original $265, which still cost more than I paid at another KIA dealership (KIA of North Plainfield, & 1st time there) that fixed it for $215, with an actual service discount. So still not even an actual discount from Raceway with whom Ive been doing business with, compared to the other. They did Not believe and stated that a low pressure tire could NOT result in a blow out. Which even a simple google search will tell you is absolutely true and possible. "When a tire is underinflated, the sidewalls flex more, which builds up excessive heat that can cause the rubber to separate from the tire's internal structure and burst." The tire is actually blown out, as you can see, not just from 1 hole from running over anything, a true blow out. But they blamed it on a nail, my driving and potholes (yet my tires had no issues when I came in, so I must've suddenly became an erratic careless driver once I left). Cost me time and money, which would've been even costlier and longer (way further distance) if I went back to them for the fix. Which originally was Never a problem. Only After.
