Easy to schedule with the service department.

Easy to schedule with the service department. The lobby offers a good location to work while waiting on the car. Chris, the customer service clerk, went above and beyond by showing me printouts of the different options I had for new tires, and that was greatly appreciated.

This review is only directed at the Don Hattan service department of Derby, KS. All price comparisons or calculations are based on the website: calculatorsoup.com and the "Percent Increase Calculator' feature. I recently need an air conditioner repair to my 2018 Chevrolet Silverado. It need an investigation and diagnostic. The repair seemed to be priced a little high. They also wanted to make some other repair services. Those other repairs seemed to be priced a little higher. I called another General Motors dealer on the west side of Wichita and later received a phone call with the costs shown below. All costs are parts, fluids, Freon, parts and labor. Tax not included. Results listed below. Don Hattan's higher Another GM dealer % higher prices dealer prices cracked a/c Condenser $1,074 $760 39.48 % Engine air filter cracked $328 $260 26.15 % Replace battery $364 $250 45.6 % Trans, filter and fluid $759 $500 51.8 % A/C leak diagnostic $189 $180 5 % Don Hattan wanted to do several other services but I choose these four examples and at random for this review. My advice is as follows: 1) Check around for the best prices and educate yourself as to reasonable repair costs. 2) Don't let them get away with it. Confront the service advisor and ask questions. I never got any acceptable answers to my questions. 3) Take your vehicle service elsewhere like I did. Good luck.

I' very honest about my reviews and I have to say my experience at Don Hatton Derby was FIRST CLASS and awesome! I was looking for a used Toyota Highlander and contacted the dealership 5 minutes from my house, along with 3 others. A young salesman named Trevon reached out to me and did a FANTASTIC job finding out what I needed and helping me find it!!! He was VERY professional and great at his job! Because of him I drove 2 hours away on a Friday afternoon to pick up our car. The sales process was excellent and they gave me a fair price on my trade it. I would use Trevon again even though there are 3-4 dealerships closer to where I live. It's hard to find great customer service and Trevon exceeded my expectations!.

Service after the sale.

Service after the sale. I would give them a F. I told my salesman I wanted 2 keys for the truck I purchased. They farmed out a spare set to DJ’s keys. Which is fine. But the 2nd fob only lasted 3-4 months. DJ won’t stand behind his product and Don Hattan management pretty much does not care, but also does not have the back bone to call me and tell me. I have purchased a few vehicles from this company, that has come to an end, and I will make sure everyone I know that is shopping for a vehicle stays away from this dealership. I would recommend everyone pretend they don’t exist. You will be glad in the end. Should have purchased over off Broadway… that’s what I got.

great experience with a professional salesman

I had the best experience at your dealership today and I have had my share of not so great car dealerships in the Wichita area. I appreciate Trevon for taking his time in listening and helping me on the lot today he was courteous and professional I will definitely be back to purchase a car from him his conduct gave your dealership a great experience

Open, Honest, No-pressure Salesman!

Good Selections on several makes of vehicles

Our salesman,Matt, was excellent! Very pleasant and all the other departments were very friendly throughout our time being there and finished our purchasing our vehicle.

Pleased with my vehicle purchase/professional help

I had looked on-line for a silver equinox and was hopeful for one with few miles in the right price range. This led me to Derby. I called to see if it was still in stock, Evan answered and said I could stop by that morning. I did and the inside was exceptionally clean. Evan did a great job sharing important information and let me take my time to decide. I ended up purchasing the same day and have been pleased in the month I have had the vehicle. Evan has been great to follow-up with, checking back with me on how everything is going. Very pleased with this dealership and their kind service. They also gave me a great deal when trading in my car.

Great service!!

Worth the time and effort of a long drive
