I had a chance to look at the trucks and then to test

I had a chance to look at the trucks and then to test drive two of them. Maddie Metter was my sales consultant. She was very friendly and helpful. I liked that she did not make me feel pressured to buy. She answered all of my questions. There was a small dent in the tailgate that I wanted fixed before I took it home. Maddie kept me informed of the progress of the repair and I picked it up the same day it was fixed. She even texted me to make sure that I made it home okay. I wish more places had people like Maddie working for them, she made me feel appreciated, not just another sale to her.

Absolutely horrible.

Absolutely horrible. Alec tried to get me to buy the car at night wanted to speak payment options in front of my son then made me wait outside for 10 minutes in the freezing cold. I actually went and bought a brand new Acura TLX A-spec just so I wouldn’t have to deal with the salesman.

Called in to verify that they still had the vehicle I was interested in and made an appointment to see the vehicle since I lived 1.5 hours away. They said they did and it would be set aside for me and when I arrived it was being test driven and then sold before I had a chance to purchase it. Total of 3 hours driving waisted as their word in no good! Looking at the reviews of this dealership I see this was a blessing in disguise. Wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone.

Avoid This Dealership – Learn from My Costly Experience!

Avoid This Dealership – Learn from My Costly Experience! I took my 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 to this dealership on December 28 due to the well-known transmission issue affecting this model year. On January 3, I was informed that they had just ordered the transmission. Three weeks later, they told me it could take up to three months for a replacement. As of now, my truck is still sitting at the dealership with no estimated fix date. Then things got even worse. I received a call—not from the dealership, but from the Belleville police— informing me that my truck had been left on cinder blocks and my 22” wheels had been stolen while it was parked at the dealership. When I called the dealership to ask why the police notified me before they did, they had no clear answer. When I asked how they planned to resolve the theft, their response? "File a claim with your insurance." This dealership failed its duty of care and now wants to avoid responsibility. I guess they forgot about their garage keepers insurance. 🚨 DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP! 🚨 If you value your vehicle and your wallet, take your business elsewhere. Their poor management is costing customers time and money. GMC Corporate, Regional Management, and the Better Business Bureau have all been notified.

DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP!

DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP! I was experiencing issues with my 2017 GMC Sierra 1500, which turned out to be the well-known transmission problem for this model year. I dropped my vehicle off at the dealership on December 28. On January 3, I was informed that the transmission had just been ordered. Three weeks later told it could be up to 3 months for a new transmission. Vehicle still sitting at dealership with no fix date. Then, I received a call—not from the dealership, but from the Belleville police—informing me that my truck had been left on cinder blocks and that my 22” wheels had been stolen while it was sitting in the dealership’s parking lot. When I called the dealership to ask why the police contacted me first instead of them, they had no clear answer. When I asked what they planned to do about the theft, they simply told me I would need to file a claim with my insurance. The dealership has "duty of care" and now wants to back out of it. Guess they forgot about their garage keepers insurance. DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP TRUST ME WILL COST YOU MORE IN THE LONG RUN. THEY NEED TO FIRE THEIR MANAGEMENT ASAP! GMC Corporate, Regional, and BBB have been notified.

Very unprofessional and will never bring a car to their dealership to be serviced again. Service team is not well trained and spent double the amount at cardinal buick for service repairs compared to a local dealer I had to pay to get my car towed to, who actually fixed my issue for half the price. Cardinal Buick is in the business of taking advantage of people and cannot stress enough that anyone should think twice about going to cardinal Buick to purchase a vehicle or get it serviced.

They sold us a car that did not have a spare tire.

They sold us a car that did not have a spare tire. Never told us it did not have a spare and we found out in the worst way! In addition pushed us to try and buy extras that we did not want. We actually left the dealership the first time because of their intense pushing of extras. Right now wish we would not have come back to buy the car.

I had a terrible experience with Cardinal Buick GMC.

I had a terrible experience with Cardinal Buick GMC. Initially, I took my car there for diagnosis of some issues and was quoted for both parts and service to fix them. I paid for the repairs, and they provided written confirmation that the issues were resolved. Just a few days later the same problems reappeared, but even worse. When I returned to the dealership, they charged me again for another diagnosis, which revealed the same issues as before. It was clear they hadn't fixed anything the first time even after written confirmation my vehicle was no longer misfiring. They quoted me again for the same work without offering any discount or acknowledgment of their previous failure. If you couldn't service the car right after the first diagnosis, why would I trust you to do it again without having issues? Ultimately, I lost trust in Cardinal Buick GMC and had to pay to have my car towed to another dealership. The entire experience felt unprofessional and as if they were simply trying to get as much money from me as possible. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice.

I purchased a new 2024 GMC Terrain at Cardinal on

I purchased a new 2024 GMC Terrain at Cardinal on November 16th. I found Cardinal through cars.com. I was connected with Martavion (Marty) Collins. I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience working with him. He was communicative, courteous, respectful, and very kind. He answered every email and phone call. His excellent level of care did not fluctuate throughout the buying process, even though he had to stay late to accommodate my husband and me. He connected me with finance manager Brittany Deeds when I had a finance question. She, as well, was fantastic to work with. She put us at ease, looked out for the best rate, and was very caring about our situation. I traveled down to Cardinal from Peoria, IL because they had the car I wanted at a good price. We were welcomed, and made to feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. They looked out for us as customers, and they did NOT have the attitude that they were doing us a favor to sell us a car. We would travel to Cardinal again to purchase! Highly recommended!
