Been there two times now. The first found a car I liked they told me they could do in house financing no problem. When I got there the salesman said it's cash only but he would call and ask the owner if he would be willing to take payments. He said he would buy wanted half the price of the car down. I didn't b have it and counter offered to pay $500 a week and the car would be paid off in 6 weeks. He wouldn't budge. Then weeks later u found another car, emailed them about putting half down and half the next month or weekly payments to pay it off within 30 days they texted me back "yeah come in and we can discuss Payment options" then after I took off work to go there they hit me with "no we want the full amount up front" the car hadv4 check engine codes and purple tail lights. I'm probably better off not getting it.

Worst car buying experience of our whole life! We went into this dealership as most people do in our situation with low credit, and needing help. They came off as helpful, having a servants heart and wanting to get us set for success. Let me warn you they did nothing short of ruin our lives for the last 2 months! The 1st car we received was supposed to be not in a wreck or clean from any damage. My husband drove this car a week and the tire blew out. We take it to the shop and was told that not only had the car been in a severe wreck, it had a bent wheel, and a tire put on that had fire damage. We paid for the tire, and urged NTA to fix the car. Although knowing we signed an AS IS agreement, as hardworking people we would never want to put someone in a car that was damaged this bad. We HOPED they would do right by us. 5 days after this my husband left for work and the car wouldn’t even turn over. We had the car towed to Hyundai and NTA proceeded to take this car to 3 different shops to fix MULTIPLE problems on the car. The car was in the shop 5 WEEKS!!! No communication. No NOTHING! Then they sold it to am auction as we were told it was not worth fixing or safe!! We SHOULD HAVE WALKED AWAY! However we decided to try our luck on a 2nd car on the lot. As again we were vulnerable! Michelle the sales manager said she wanted to do right by us…lol. The 2nd car was a bigger disaster than the 1st car. We had the car 2 weeks when United Auto Credit called us asking for verification of our check stubs through giving them our banking information!!! I told them NO ONE but me, God, and my husband sees my bank account info. They told us to take the car back that they would void the deal if we didn’t comply with giving them our routing and checking info!!! I have bought multiple cars and NEVER!!! HAVE I BEEN ASKED THIS!!! SCAMMERS ALL THE WAY AROUND!! If they simply would have called our employers verified our info we would have solved this NIGHTMARE! We lost 2,500 on this crooked scam of a dealership!!! They wouldn’t give our deposit back either!! RUNNNNNNNN AWAY AND NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!

Found a used Honda advertised on Car Fax by North Texas Autos in Denton ,for my 17 year old daughter to tool back and forth for high school and college . Left a down payment with Devin , $ 200.00 and waited for the appropriate repairs to be completed .Radio code , passenger rear window that wouldn’t roll up or down bad motor ( which was unbeknownst to Devin ) and lastly missing trim for front windshield that would keep rain entering into the cabin . At this time Devin informed me that all sales where final no warranty with the exception of 90 days warranty for power train at which point Devin wrote a receipt for the 200.00. Repairs where to be completed within a week for pickup . During my daughters visit to look at the vehicle “North Texas Motors in Denton “, with our mechanic 4 days later, he pointed out that this car had several paint jobs for undisclosed reasons , with runs and overspray with a rear taillight having been taped around but not covered entirely and subsequently completely covered with overspray matching body paint for the trunk indicating a hurried job. (Maybe a quick paint job at the Local high school body shop class ?). With that .., my only daughter who earns less than $ 9.00 an hour before taxes fell apart and calls me to state “, Dad I do not like the paint on the tail light and the drip runs on the roof line” . Can we look for another car? I’m sure this wouldn’t be the first time this has happened to other minimum wage workers , and I assumed that we could find another. at this dealership “North Texas Autos In Denton” ,or another .Well after asking for the deposit back Devin informed me” no way “that he had spent to much money by my request ???? on repairs and he was on the bosses bad side for agreeing to begin with. Boss man “Khafji“ feels the same and informed me after my objection that they have a sign posted in the office to back his dealerships policy. Funny how these things appear after the fact !! I stated that I was not informed of this visually or verbally by my Devin ., so there’s your Option . Might make a lot of business sense to post the down payment policy on this sheet of paper, wouldn’t it? The receipt for my 200.00 deposit down payment . Not sure what part of the office this is posted , since Mr Khafji sent the picture via text to me one week later After my objection . One thing I am sure to do is make this sign visible to those potential Customer’s so, they aren’t out this type of money and have nothing to show for it by dealing with North Texas Autos 1023 Dallas Drive Denton Tx . Wouldn’t it make sense that North Texas Autos in Denton and owner Mr Khafji include this disclaimer on receipts for deposits ? Therefore, I am compelled to post this to social media, also I shouldn’t have left the deposit with this kind of policy in place , furthermore wanting to inform other potential customers should anybody attempt to purchase a car/truck from North Texas Autos in Denton from Devin or Mr Khafji or other dealers that hold this same policy of no deposit refunds , customers need to be informed beforehand by these dealerships that if you leave a deposit with or without your wait for modifications at the dealers convenience. Meanwhile I will attempt to find the words for my 17 year old daughters “25 hours of work at minimum wage that isn’t going to be returned per “Khafji owner “of NorthTexas Autos 1023 Dallas dr. Denton TX 76205!
