Gregg Guetzlaff at Landers McLarty Ford in Ft. Payne, Al is by far the best salesman I have ever dealt with. He helped me turn an upside down situation around by getting the most discounts possible on a new vehicle and value for my trade in. If you want a no nonsense, straight forward car buying

If you want a no nonsense, straight forward car buying experience go to Landers McLarty Ford in Fort Payne, Alabama and ask for Gregg Guetzlaff. This by far has been my best car buying experience. I have spent hours wasting my time at other dealerships. When I walked into Landers McCarty Ford, Gregg introduced himself, I told him I want to see the following trucks that were listed on your website. Gregg looked them up, pulled the truck around that hadn't already sold and I test drove the truck. No bait and switch, no high pressure sales tactics or stating I am not familiar with that ad. It was straight and to the point. All of the staff from Landers McLarty in Fort Pane did an excellent job and Landers McLarty Ford in Fort Payne by far had the best prices I have seen while shopping for a new truck. So if you are looking for the best price on a new vehicle why not swing by Lander McLarty Ford in Fort Payne Alabama and ask for Gregg Guetzlaff.

I reached out to Gregg and was immediately up front with

I reached out to Gregg and was immediately up front with a price sheet from a competitor on a vehicle with similar MSRP but more discounts than a certain F150 I was interested in from McLarty Ford. At first, really hit it off with Gregg and his manager. I was extreemly clear with the price sheet, what my goal was out the door, and that I am looking for the best deal. They took the time to look over the price sheet and assured me up front they wanted my business and asked me directly over the phone with both Gregg and his manager present "if we could beat their discounts and value on your trade would that win you over?". I said, yes, since that was my exact reason for reaching out. After that first conversation I thought I had found a winner. Then, it turned sour. It took multiple attempts back and forth to get a price sheet with max discounts ultimately which never got any better than the internet price available to everyone and even worse, less for my trade than the competition. When I tried to ask and explain what gives, this is nowhere close to where is sounded like you were going to be after our initial conversation - responses became short and dismissive and eventually a screw you nothing but "best of luck with your search sir". Very disappointed having wasted the time back and forth when they could have been up front from the beginning they won't work a deal or match competition, misrepresentation from the start. Then when called on it, no apologies or "customer is right attitude". Sadly - another bad experience under the Landers McLarty brand.

I have to tell you about the great experience I had at Landers McLarty Ford in Fort Payne. My salesman Greg Guetzlaff answered all my questions thoroughly, never made me feel pressured, and was very attentive to my needs (great hot chocolate). Best of all, I got a great deal. When it was time sign the paperwork, Justin was quick and efficient. Overall, this was the best experience I have ever had buying a car.
