Preordered the 2023 Integra from this dealership back in March. No Communication whatsoever. Reached out over 6 times to them. All you get is a sorry. Mandatory markup and mandatory accessories. Waste of time. Was told in March by Edgar no mark ups or add ons. July 22 was told mandatory 8k markup. Get a call today august 3 from Chris mandatory 2400 accessories. Obviously GREED plays a huge part in this dealership. Preorder consumer just helped dealers like this get extra units to FLIP. Stay away and don’t do business with crooked people and a greedy dealership. Bragging about we have people offering offers from all over. Why take preorders when you have don’t have intentions to sell to the consumer. Worse dealer ever

Alternator replacement
Got an alternator replacement and B1 service (oil change) on April 18th 2020. Took an Acura 2012 TL into the dealership for oil change and the battery light (Check Charging System) check. Got to the shop around 11:07 AM. Request the oil change and check on battery light. (Diagnostic will cost $175, labor is at $175 an hour, but will be put toward the repair cost if repair is needed) Around 12:50 PM, the adviser came back with the diagnostic that the alternator was bad and need a replacement. So I agreed to replace the alternator. At 1:05 PM, the mechanic started working on the alternator. At 1:35 PM, the mechanic was done and took the old alternator back to parts department. So it only took the mechanic around 30 minutes to change the alternator. He then drove the car around the service area a bit, probably to test the alternator and then took it to the wash. At 1:53 PM final invoice was printed and I was called into the booth to pay. Oil change - $109.95 ($86.23 was for labor - about 30 minutes) Alternator - $1033.49 ($507.50 was for labor - 2.9 Hour at $175 per hour) I am not sure how car dealership or car repair shop charge for labor but I would think that it by the time they started working on the car and finished with it for a particular repair. But Spreen Acura's service adviser said that it was charged by book time so doesn't matter how long or short a repair was, you are charged a specific hour for a specific job. But charging $1015 per hour of actual labor is a bit much. Hope this helps.

Unanimous
Edmund was very nice and relaxed when showing us the car inventory. Allowed us to drive the car and was helpful with any questions or concerns we had. Once we started to talk about the numbers however, things changed as he slowly disappeared and sent another sales guy our direction. This guy was extremely rude, pushy, and spoke to us like were dumb for not taking a deal right away. Constantly asked "why?" whenever we said ANYTHING and so we walked away.

UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT HONEST
Spreen Acura sales manager and service did not deliver promises they made. Service screwed up my appointment and did not apologize. When they serviced the car they did a very bad job. Sales manager would not return my calls in spite of several emails and calls.

wrong info
does not display accurate car information and does not correct it. I do not understand how a dealership would mess up on this, it was alarming.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Worst I've ever come across.
Worse interaction with a car dealership EVER!!! Called them to ask to put a deposit down on a used 2016 ILX. I was told, "We do not hold vehicles Even with a $10k deposit, due to not having a contract". I asked how we get a contract? The answer you have to be in person to do so. I explained 2 different times I live in a different state, I will be driving there this weekend to purchase. Their answer, "No problem see you then". So I of course was happy they changed their minds and said oh, so you will hold it. NO, was the response I got. I then asked am I just supposed to take a gamble that it will still be there when I get there. They reply, "Yup, if someone else buys it before then there is nothing we can do about it." I've purchased 3 different Acuras brand new and am making my decision soon if I will be getting another new MDX. At this point I will tell every one I know to avoid this place. Worst service I've ever encountered. I did ask to speak to the manager, I was told that is Chris Rushing. When the sales man got back on the phone he said Chris is not going to get on the phone to tell you the same thing I just said. I asked is he refusing to speak to me, YES was the answer. AGAIN... AVOID THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!

Incompetent
The experience of purchasing the car was mostly positive, other than the salesperson insisting that the bumper on one car had not been repainted when clearly it was a different shade than the rest of the car. It has been a major headache since then. I realized on the drive home that the car, a '15 TLX V6, shifted hard in certain gears. It was still under warranty, so I took it to the dealer near me within a couple of days. The car needed an entirely new transmission, and it was in the shop for almost 3 weeks. It also needed new tires. I would think that an ACURA dealer would be able to tell that an ACURA needed a new transmission. They clearly do not do anything to check out the used cars they are selling. Fortunately my local dealer is fantastic and got the entire thing covered for me and kept me in a loaner until it was done. They sent me the second key which they couldn't find when the car was delivered, and did not put enough postage on the envelope so I had to go to the post office and pay $1.22 to pick it up. I'm glad they decided that my time has so little value. Finally, though I live in Arizona and gave them an Arizona address with my Arizona license and told them I was taking the car back to Arizona they decided to register the car in California, wasting $300 of my money. Now I get to try and fight the CA DMV for a refund because they insist that I made the mistake and that I should have no problem driving a car in AZ with CA plates when I am an AZ resident. They are wrong, and the first time I get pulled over I will be cited. I'm sure they know they are wrong, but the finance manager didn't want to admit that he screwed up. They kept sending me emails asking for a review. I responded with some of my frustrations and asked them to have someone contact me before I gave an honest review, but they did not care to do so. So per their request, I'm leaving my feedback. I would not recommend that anyone buy a car from Spreen Acura, ever. They are very clearly incompetent, and have no desire to resolve customer concerns. They sold me a defective car, registered my car in the wrong state, and can't even calculate postage.
