Our previous service was a big one, well over $1,000. Today we went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Not only did that go up $30 from our last oil change and rotation, but we were presented with a pretty hard sell for another group of services that totaled well over $2,000. Some of these were presented as "new" recommendations by Subaru. I'm not able to spend over $1,000 every 6 months or so for "recommended" services. I take good care of our vehicles, but I'm starting to feel some of these are just money grabs. That being said, out service advisor was very nice and when we said "no" to the extra things after his explanations, he did not push it. The facility is also comfortable.

Tim Previtte is a thoroughly professional and capable gentleman who takes pride in his work and treats his customers with courtesy and respect. Brought my car in for a check engine light and spent over $500 in diagnostic labor and they were unable to find the issue. They asked me to spend approximately another $1900 to pull the engine which was before any actual repair costs were known. I took the car back for a second opinion at my local mechanic. The problem was diagnosed in half a day, and cost me a grand total of $60 to fix. Communication was terrible at Granite, they were slow to respond and had my car for several days. I would have expected them, as Subaru experts, to be able to diagnose a minor issue without costing me thousands! I will never go back in spite of the fact that I've been a loyal customer for years. No follow up whatsoever, no attempt at making things right. Shameful.
