not long after I got the car, I noticed an oil leak and thought I was about to be in for a headache. took it back and they got it sorted out way faster than I expected warranty covered it, no extra money out of my pocket. mete even gave me a gas git card when I first came in to look around. these guys have been solid with me

Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re glad we could get everything taken care of and make the process easy for you. We appreciate you choosing Magic Auto Sales!
Not a great experience. I would personally recommend avoiding this dealership. Please note that this review reflects my personal experience with Magic Auto Sales of New Jersey. I purchased a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan listed online for $13,500 with just under 50,000 miles. I believed I was purchasing a solid, reliable vehicle, so I did not negotiate the additional dealer fees. The out-the-door price before tax was $14,843. After taxes, registration, additional state requirements, financing costs, and repairs, the overall financial cost associated with this vehicle has reached approximately $23,000 or more. Unfortunately, after only about one week of use, including a drive to another state, the vehicle began experiencing multiple problems. Vehicle issues: - The brakes began grinding. I had signed a promise document regarding the brake issue before leaving the dealership. The brakes initially seemed fine, but the problem returned shortly afterward. I repeatedly contacted the dealership seeking a resolution, and many communications went unanswered. - The A/C began blowing hot air and was leaking. - My mechanic identified problems involving the stabilizer, front shocks/suspension, and an oil leak, with repairs quoted at $1,869.89. - The van has been averaging approximately 11 MPG. I previously owned the exact same make and model and never experienced fuel economy this poor. Issues with the dealership experience: - I had to argue to be allowed to test drive the vehicle and take it for a pre-purchase inspection, and I was extremely limited in where I could take it. - I paid extra for an extended warranty that proved useless for these problems because of mileage and coverage restrictions. - I was promised a second key but left with only one. It took approximately four weeks to receive it. - The title also took roughly four weeks to arrive, delaying my ability to complete the required out-of-state registration. - I was promised a full tank of gas. After asking multiple times, I was instead handed $20. I immediately went to a gas station, where filling the tank cost more than ~$60 if I recall correctly. - According to my call history, I called the dealership exactly 31 times from my initial contact through my attempts to resolve these issues. I was repeatedly promised callbacks and resolutions, but many callbacks never occurred and very little was ultimately resolved. - I was later told by email that rear brake pads would be sent to me. I accepted that as a resolution because there did not appear to be much else the dealership was willing to do. That was 10 days ago. After four follow-up emails, I still have no response, tracking number, or confirmation that they were shipped. - The salesperson also asked me to leave a positive review on Cars.com. The entire process lasted more than a month. Throughout it, I repeatedly gave the dealership the benefit of the doubt. I assumed they were busy, that the fees were higher because I was buying from what I believed was a trusted source, and that the issues would eventually be addressed. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I am now left with an overall financial cost of roughly $23,000 or more, numerous unresolved concerns, and a vehicle that I do not feel comfortable driving very often because of the repair issues. This has been one of the most frustrating purchase experiences I have had. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is that the dealership did respond some of the time, and I eventually received the second key and title. Based on my personal experience, I would not purchase another vehicle from Magic Auto Sales of New Jersey.

We have reviewed your concerns and would like to provide some additional context, as several statements in your review are not consistent with the facts of the transaction. Before completing the purchase, you were offered a full test drive and the opportunity to have the vehicle inspected by an independent third-party mechanic. The total amount paid to Magic Auto Sales for the vehicle, including applicable dealer fees, was $14,943. The additional costs referenced in your review, including financing, taxes, repairs, and other expenses, are separate from the amount charged by our dealership. Regarding the brake issue, we had an agreement regarding the brakes and told you that you could bring the vehicle back to our dealership so we could have the brakes taken care of. You informed us that you were already out of state and would not be able to bring the vehicle back to our facility. The vehicle title and spare key were mailed as agreed. We also provided a courtesy amount toward fuel, although a full tank of gas is not part of our standard purchase agreement. We understand you are disappointed with your experience, but we stand by the information above and the efforts made by our team to assist after the sale. If you have any remaining questions, please feel free to reach out to us directly.

Honestly, I was waiting for the usual dealership nonsense.. never happened. Just looked around, asked a bunch of questions, took a test drive, and that was it. Pretty smooth. Felix is the best one

Not a guy who always leaves reviews, but I was surprised to find a dealership that really cares about its customers needs. A salesman named Felix made the test drive enjoyable and was quick with the paperwork. Good place.
