South Shore Subaru Hours
Went there this passed Saturday to look at a car. Everyone was fantastic from the salesman to the sales manager. I was in a pinch and needed a new car... immediately and was able to drive off in it that day. I also got a great deal on it. I would recommend this dealer without a doubt!!!
Brandon was absolutely perfect in every way. He answered every one of my questions with ease and support . He was not pushy or trying to make a sale. He... was absolutely wonderful. I felt like a queen and was treated with the most utmost respect. the whole staff is just wonderful. caring respectful and knowledgeable. they have a huge variety of cars, and they let your browse and walk around but always there if you need them. they are fast in servicing your needs, and always there when and if you need them. I am so happy I went to South Shore Subaru and will from now ow, buy all my cars from them Helen Reis
My wife's least favorite experience is sitting for hours in a dealership negotiating a price for a new car - This time it was different and enjoyable -... Our salesman, Robert Spinello made us very comfortable and within minutes we felt like we had known him for years - the process went smoothly and without a hitch and many of the people that were there were equally as nice - the place is lovely and had a nice selection of cars to choose from - thank you all !!! What a fantastic experience from start to finish. Not to mention a brand new beautiful place! John, Geoff, Andy, you guys are the best! Thank you for... your input and all your effort that went into this deal. Your genuine concern is so much appreciated! Love you guys and love my new Subaru Forester!!! xoxoxo
I wanted to drop a note to thank all of the folks at South Shore Subaru in Lindenhurst NY for the help I received yesterday. The stand out was Robert... Spinello. This started out as a drive by and pit stop by me to this relatively new dealership and although I was interested in a new car Rob brought all the details to the table to make it happen. He was not only a good salesman but professional in his approach and knowledgable about the entire process from trading in my leased vehicle to negotiating the deal. Bravo South Shore Subaru and especially Rob Spinello. Thank you!
This is a relatively new dealership so I just stopped in on my own..I needed to replace a 15 year old car and wanted a comfortable one. They were very... polite, helpful and not at all pushy. I got a very good deal.. Sales, management and finance employees were all very good. Consider this dealership. If you need to buy or lease a car.
I purchased my first Subaru from South Shore Subaru in Lindenhurst. They were very nice, helpful and not at all pushy. They gave me a very good deal and... were very fair.
First time experience, Brandon Larnaitis couldn,t have been more helpful and knowledgeable. He was patient and listened to what we were looking for and... was very happy to introduce us to the Subaru experience.. We were prepared with our financial info and insurance info and submitted all required paperwork the day prior to our picking up the vehicle, we experienced a rather long wait while the paperwork was processed by the financial dept during this time. Our experience was pleasant with the staff we encountered.
We were originally interested in a Mazda CX-5 fully loaded and discussed with Salesman Bob D., and his associate Lou which was a new hire shadowing him,... the range in cars my fiance and I were looking for, none of which were Subaru. He did everything he could to steer us away from the car by bragging off a 2018 BASE Forrester Manual which had nothing of what we were looking for other than appealing to my boyfriend of its manual transmission. The only reason why we were entertaining it is cause Bob strongly suggested in driving the Forester first before the Mazda which is typical salesman tactics but whatever. Not only that, I told my fiance to be careful before test driving and was going to explain that I had been in a car accident recently and am still shell-shocked but then BOB interrupted me and admonished me from speaking any further to my fiance that would hinder him from having the "ultimate experience" Bob was trying to give him. That made me extremely uncomfortable, belittled and alienated which then RUINED ANY CHANCE of us purchasing the car at that dealership no matter what. The car was a poor suggestion of what my fiance and I had in mind and not only that, Bob gave us the impression that I didn't know how to drive stick and my fiance listed the cars I have had that were in manual transmissions. After the test drive, Bob gave my fiance a review of the service station and in that time I got to know Lou (the new hire/associate) and felt better from my exchange with him and it reminded me that there are the good salesmen and then the bad ones. When we got back to the dealership from the test drive I quickly told my fiance how I felt and that we were originally here with a list in mind and when we told Bob about still wanting to drive the Mazda, he told us that he parked it back in the lot while my fiance and I were talking almost as if the Mazda was cleared from being an option anymore since we test drove the Subaru. He then made an off-putting joke about the car commission to Lou in front of us and let Lou handle our Mazda test drive instead while Bob stayed in the dealership. Lou was kinder, non-aggressive and allowed us to really consider our priorities. Overall, my fiance liked the power behind the Mazda more so than the Subaru's smooth stickshift but because of Bob's aggressive over-sell pitching, he didn't want to be convinced of otherwise again. And Bob had put a clearly unfavored view of the Mazda for us earlier that we saw it as a sign to not even buy the used car there at the dealership. I think because Bob assumed the car was going to be under my fiance's name that he would only have to concentrate on what could appeal to him but if he really heard my fiance, he told Bob that he's looking for a car that would suit the needs of him and I so alienating me early on was a clear no-go. I was supposed to be taken seriously but it went elsewhere I guess. Clearly, our experience is because we wanted a non-Subaru/used car in a NEWLY BUILT SUBARU lot and others looking for a Subaru most likely won't have that experience but this all could've had a different outcome. A car could've been bought if our needs were met with us in mind.
Thank you for the feedback concerning your visit to our dealership. We strive to make every customer feel like a VIP and it's obvious that in thi...s case we did not achieve that. I deeply apologize that your time spent with us was not productive. I've spoken with the staff involved and I think that the takeaway here is that there is nothing more valuable than truly listening to customer and delivering on their needs. I understand you purchased elsewhere and I wish you the best of luck with your vehicle ownership! Sincerely, Charles Fama General Manager South Shore Subaru email@example.com
This newly-opened Subaru dealership is DEFINITELY the one to go to if you are looking to buy a Subaru. The staff has set out to change the paradigm of... car buying/selling, and have done away with all of the superfluous nonsense that one normally has to deal with in order to finally come to an agreement on the terms. They bottom line it for you without the back and forth hassle of taking trips to the ???back office??? (that doesn???t exist) to speak with a manager (who actually went home 4 hours ago). They truly have changed the experience for their customers. Fair. Honest. REAL. Three words one NEVER commonly uses to describe a car salesman, or the dealership for which he/she works. But it's true. I leased my new 2019 Legacy from them, and they REALLY took care of me. I don't care where you live - this dealership is worth the trip. And once you experience what it's like to buy/lease a car with this professional, motivated, and innovative young staff, you will not likely want to shop anywhere else. They kept every promise they made, didn't try to sell me something I didn't want (or need), and answered every question I had. A special shout out to Michael Dymnicki for all that he did to help us, and for knowing us BY NAME whenever we stopped in to see if my car was on the lot yet. He was just so, so nice. Thanks, Mike! And another thank you to Nino Tiburzi (sorry if I spelled it wrong) for making the process so much less painful, and for keeping all of your promises to me. Thanks Nino! And finally, thank you Andrew Carlson! You made the final stretch of the process so much easier. Thank you for actually taking the time to look at the ???scratch-dings??? on my old Subaru, and for being honest about the fact that the ???ding plan??? wouldn???t work for me. Definitely go. You'll be glad that you did.
