My Recent Purchase of 2018 Subaru
This dealership is relatively new. The sales people and financial personnel are very friendly. They are not pushy and they don't keep calling you as other dealerships do. My sales person was Brandon and he did a great job. I would definitely recommend South Shore Subaru.

I pick up a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek
Gary, from Lindenhurst I went in to South Shore Subaru in Lindenhurst and I pick up a 2019 Crosstrek in dark gray. I took it for a ride and I was impressed and I love the car. New Crosstrek Purchase
I purchased a new Crosstrek from South Shore Subaru and the entire process was extremely enjoyable. Michal Dymnicki answered all my questions when I first speculated purchasing a new vehicle and kept in contact without being overbearing. He pleasantly worked around my schedule to set up a test drive and ultimately a finalization of purchase. Michal was very professional and he thoroughly explained all of the features of the vehicle as well as all the services provided by the service center. When I picked up the Crosstrek, Michal helped set up Subaru Starlink and connected my phone so that when I left the lot, everything I needed was already good to go. South Shore Subaru's staff was very friendly and made purchasing a new vehicle easy and pleasant. I highly recommend the dealership and Michal to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle.

This is a relatively new dealership so I just stopped in on my own..I needed to replace a 15 year old car and wanted a comfortable one. They were very polite, helpful and not at all pushy. I got a very good deal.. Sales, management and finance employees were all very good. Consider this dealership.If you need to buy or lease a car.

No Thanks Bob.
We were originally interested in a Mazda CX-5 fully loaded and discussed with Salesman Bob D., and his associate Lou which was a new hire shadowing him, the range in cars my fiance and I were looking for, none of which were Subaru. He did everything he could to steer us away from the car by bragging off a 2018 BASE Forrester Manual which had nothing of what we were looking for other than appealing to my boyfriend of its manual transmission. The only reason why we were entertaining it is cause Bob strongly suggested in driving the Forester first before the Mazda which is typical salesman tactics but whatever. Not only that, I told my fiance to be careful before test driving and was going to explain that I had been in a car accident recently and am still shell-shocked but then BOB interrupted me and admonished me from speaking any further to my fiance that would hinder him from having the "ultimate experience" Bob was trying to give him. That made me extremely uncomfortable, belittled and alienated which then RUINED ANY CHANCE of us purchasing the car at that dealership no matter what. The car was a poor suggestion of what my fiance and I had in mind and not only that, Bob gave us the impression that I didn't know how to drive stick and my fiance listed the cars I have had that were in manual transmissions. After the test drive, Bob gave my fiance a review of the service station and in that time I got to know Lou (the new hire/associate) and felt better from my exchange with him and it reminded me that there are the good salesmen and then the bad ones. When we got back to the dealership from the test drive I quickly told my fiance how I felt and that we were originally here with a list in mind and when we told Bob about still wanting to drive the Mazda, he told us that he parked it back in the lot while my fiance and I were talking almost as if the Mazda was cleared from being an option anymore since we test drove the Subaru. He then made an off-putting joke about the car commission to Lou in front of us and let Lou handle our Mazda test drive instead while Bob stayed in the dealership. Lou was kinder, non-aggressive and allowed us to really consider our priorities. Overall, my fiance liked the power behind the Mazda more so than the Subaru's smooth stickshift but because of Bob's aggressive over-sell pitching, he didn't want to be convinced of otherwise again. And Bob had put a clearly unfavored view of the Mazda for us earlier that we saw it as a sign to not even buy the used car there at the dealership. I think because Bob assumed the car was going to be under my fiance's name that he would only have to concentrate on what could appeal to him but if he really heard my fiance, he told Bob that he's looking for a car that would suit the needs of him and I so alienating me early on was a clear no-go. I was supposed to be taken seriously but it went elsewhere I guess. Clearly, our experience is because we wanted a non-Subaru/used car in a NEWLY BUILT SUBARU lot and others looking for a Subaru most likely won't have that experience but this all could've had a different outcome. A car could've been bought if our needs were met with us in mind.

Best Subaru dealer on Long Island
South Shore Subaru hooked me up on short notice with a beautiful Impreza. It was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. Been to Ford, been to Chevy, Mazda, Nissan, etc. No one touches this team. Upfront cost without hidden fees and a friendly staff that will bend over backwards to make sure you’re happy. Can’t thank them enough for the help they gave me and I’ll definitely be coming back when my wife’s lease with Nissan is up! If you live in the Babylon area and want a new car, this is the place to go - hands down. Ask for my salesman, Mike Dymnicki, for the best service you’ll ever get.
