Poor customer service, lots of miscommunication between employees, at first they treat you good once you purchase & any issue arises with your vehicle they treat you diffrently with attitude & very rude, to top it off i was sold a C300 that has factory defective issues, but since i drove of the premises now i have to deal with it, how is that my fault! who wants to buy a brand new vehicle & have to have issues with it so soon that only speaks for its quality, had a bad experience with sales manager moby neither him nor sales manager ellan where able to meet my needs & concerns. Mercedes of escondido does not make customers satisfaction a priority! i would not reccomend this location at all!

I am beyond disappointing by the experience my family has
I am beyond disappointing by the experience my family has had with this dealership. From the initial purchase of a 2019 Jeep Compass on December 29, 2023, to the ongoing service issues, the level of customer care has been utterly unsatisfactory, with the exception of Victoria in the Service Department. The sales process was marred by attempts to overcharge us, which should have been a warning sign. The day after purchase, we returned the vehicle due to noise it was making. This turned out to be a starter problem, which took two weeks to resolve without any accommodation provided. Subsequent issues, such as missing bolts and loose components discovered by our mechanic, required further repairs, time and inconvenience. Despite multiple attempts to contact the General Managers for assistance, we have faced prolonged delays and unreturned calls. I have called twice a day for the past four days to contact the GMs, Shawn Khan and Nathan Salib. I have not received one return call or text. I would contact the next higher up, however, no one seems to know who that is. Presently, the vehicle requires substantial repairs, including a new gear drive shaft and transfer case bolts, with the dealership agreeing to cover some but not all expenses. The proposed $1,450 repair cost for the thermostat remains unresolved, compounded by the complete lack of response from both Shawn Khan and Nathan Salib despite repeated attempts to reach them. Given the multitude of issues this vehicle has had over the past six months, compounded by the dealership's failure to conduct a thorough inspection, our experience underscores a severe deficiency in customer service and responsibility. We urge a prompt and comprehensive resolution to these issues, including the outstanding repairs and reimbursement for expenses incurred due to dealership oversights.

Terrible customer service.
Terrible customer service. No loaner car. They didn’t even clean my vehicle upon returning. I would not recommend Escondido Mercedes to customers!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ You might see some 5 star rating but I’m telling you be aware of false advertisement. If there is another Mercedes dealership ANYWHERE close to you go there!!! Let’s start by the fact that they are beyond persistent about you using the lot financing! To where it’s almost in a threatening manner or if you don’t this then…..I used my bank and purchased a “certified pre-used vehicle”. The vehicle only had one key and was assured by my sales person he would get another key to me. I had the vehicle shipped to my house in Va by a company they use. I never could get in touch with the shipping company and when my car arrived looked like it had been in a sand storm. They didn’t send the car with temp tags and I fought for a month before I finally got the title from them to register my car. So over a month went by before I could drive this car. I drove the car for a week when I noticed that the drivers side headlight had some bounce to it so I looked under the hood to find a broken screw…not sure if you know how much the headlights are but around 1000$. To top it off there was a rag securing the headlight in place. Pushed nice and tight as to minimize that bounce. Once I noticed that I took it to Mercedes of Arlington where there did an overall inspection of the vehicle which is 400. Come to find out I needed 4000 dollars worth of repair. Now you would think “certified” that things would be covered. NOPE!!! Apparently this car had from what they said…been in an accident. Tires bent 1200, headlight 1000, cracked plastic underneath car leading to rubbing on tire 1000. The mechanic stated I would have never certified this car with the current condition. I was blown away!!! Immediately I called Mecedes of Escondido. Not only did the give me the run around and several people to call but then they never ever ever call you back. Alfonso Soto-service manager-called over 6 times never returned calls, Mobi-Sales manager-called 2 times-never returned calls. General sales manager of entire store-called and left message with secretary-never retired call. Oh, and when you call to make a complaint to Mercedes Benz USA, which I have done…make sure you don’t get JENNIFER who is a “executive claims manager” she will do NOTHING for you. She goes on vacations and you can’t get a hold of her for weeks. Then if she tries to call you back but your unavailable due to the fact your on vacation she will close you case! So this is not over and I will be continuing to file complaints because if you read reviews there is something going on with this dealership. Once your out the door your screwed. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! I’d give this place a negative if I could.

It’s very hard to get a hold of finance after the purchase. I have questions and no one returns my calls. But when they needed something from me they were calling me every other day. Desperately selling cars but not thoroughly explaining the deal that was made. Disappointed
