Reviews
Write a reviewThese guys are very dishonest, they sold me a lemon too. My truck was definitely put together. It had mix match passenger seat, nothing on my steering wheel console worked my horn didn't work. Failed to tell me it was in a accident I found out from one of the partners who looked up car fax after I requested him to which the sales guy who sold me the truck hid it from me. So no don't go to these the ate the worst. I still had to put additional 3,000 too fix what was wrong after paying 5,000.

Not only did these guys sell me a car that had a shattered charcoal canister, a missing lug nut on 2 tires (and then told me ‘the car won’t lose a wheel with 4 lug nuts’), took a month to “fix” the 15+ problems with it (not including the canister of course), but the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree on the drive home. They fix up a car just nice enough to where it’s going to seem perfectly fine on your test drive in hopes you’re not smart enough to look at the things they cover up. Stay as far away as you possibly can from this place or you will seriously regret it. These people literally a living ripping off unsuspected drivers. They even made me sign an illegal document preventing me from leaving bad reviews about them on the internet thinking I’d actually fall for it. I returned the junk mobile but lost 80% of my deposit doing so. “Crooks” would be a euphemism.

Walking into this place should be warning sign enough. They rebuild totaled cars for re-sale and use parts from other total cars to make the repairs needed to sell the car. Or at least make it look/appear to be driveable. You can see the halfway disassembled cars walking through the door that they used to piece together another car of the same or similar year/model. They're very good at what they do which is not selling cars, it is ripping people off blind. Don't get fooled. Buy a car somewhere else.

My son bought a car from these guys and within a week it broke down. My son had to have the car towed there at his own expense. They fixed one of the issues but wouldn’t fix the one part needed to pass inspection, they agreed if my son had it fixed elsewhere they would compensate him some of the cost which they did My son was in the middle of moving and in a mix up and miscommunication with the bank he inadvertently cancelled 2 of his payments for the car and the car was put up for repossession…. My son as soon as he found out the mistake tried to pay the 2 payments but was told by the finance company that works with these guys it was too late. My son called Illinois Auto and told them about the mixup and the owner told him if he brought the car back he would give him his deposit back We had filed a complaint with the BBB of New Jersey, with the finance company when the car broke down after only a week and even with the patterson police. So when we got there all we got was an attitude. Now granted he didn’t have to give my son anything back , but my son could have just let him repo the car and that would of cost these guys a lot of money since he lived in another state. My son was trying to do the right thing. These characters put charge after charge against the deposit and my son only wound up with less than half of what he had put down. Plus they were upset that he made all these complaints so theymade him sign a non disclosure form stating that he couldn’t write or say anything negative about their business Well I didn’t sign anything and all I can say is they suck, they are intimidating, as far as I’m concerned they are nice to you until right after you sign the contract and then your on your own…. So buyer beware … don’t buy from these guys Look at the reviews, should tell you the whole story, couldn’t find one good one Only wish my son had looked at the reviews first but lesson learned DONT BUY FROM ILLINOIS AUTO

They sell cheap cars, you get what you pay for, bought a stick shift Is250. Car was great until, it started slipping the clutch within 24 hours of buying the car. I bought the car with 111k miles for 6k. Probably have over 12k in parts in the car now. I fixed all the problems myself, car so far has only left me stuck at work 2 separate times. One for a completely dead battery and for fuel pressure sensor shorting out toyota products usually aren't money pits. Could not get the car to start, until i replaced a sensor that cost 500 dollars. Converted the car to single mass flywheel when I replaced the clutch myself, replaced axles, driveshaft, new oem headlights, brand new oem 18"G-spyder wheels. Found florida lemon booklet in glove compartment. Vehicle has had service work done at a lexus dealership in florida including full engine rebuild at 68k miles. Drivers door sounds like a TIN can when you shut it, must have been wrecked. Clear coat peeling off after just 4 years of ownership. They lied to me and claimed the car was wrapped and damaged the paint. I had a professional at Koch 33 autobody repair tell me that they did body work on the rear quarter panel because the body lines were not proportional.

Car was in an unreported accident (hood aftermarket), catalytic converters fried, they electronically signed my name on every document so I didn’t read anything including waiving any right to bring the car back for repair or a refund. This the game they play and how they make their money. Don’t ever buy from these guys. I’m going to call and tell them what all my issues are but I am not expecting a response form them whatsoever.
