Oakes Auto started as an independent car dealership in the Kansas City area. Oakes Auto was founded in 2010 with the belief that all people deserve to be treated with respect and kindness when purchasing a vehicle. In June 2018 we purchased Olathe Mitsubishi and relocated the dealership to our location in Kansas City Kansas. In December 2018 we added Kia to our family of brands after acquring Jack Miller Kia in North Kansas City Missouri.
At Oakes KIA we make the experience easy and stress-free.

Great experience top to bottom. I don't like overly long buying processes, I was in a hurry to get my car and they made it happen as quickly as possible.

I am very pleased with Oakes Kia. I have purchased three cars from there in the last six months. The last one I purchased was a replacement for a smaller car that I just wanted a bigger car and purchased a carnivalminivan. Lyric, Chuck, and Meaghan are outstanding. They are not high-pressure and they provide the outstanding customer support that I’m sure Kia expects from them. I feel really comfortable when I’m buying a car dealing with these three as I know that I’m getting a fair deal and they’re not giving me any malarky. I will highly recommend Oakes Kia to other individuals and ask that they see Chuck, Lyric and Meaghan. Truly outstanding group of people to work with and I’ve gone and had service their twice for oil changed already and that has been excellent also.

Car availability good. Everything was fine until it came time to go to financing portion. I can't count how many times I expressed that I was not interested in an extended warranty at the time of purchase, but it was continued to be hammered at me. Also, my initial response on the VIP membership was that I was interested in looking at it, but then after realizing the cost and what it entailed, I expressed that it wasn't right for me. After the grueling financing discussion and my brain wore out from the repeated attempts for me to sign an extended warranty, apparently I signed off on the VIP membership package. After a second meeting at the dealership for some additional paperwork I apparently needed to sign, I encountered both sales and finance persons to let them know I didn't recall signing that, I was informed that all new paperwork would need to be drafted up and signed. I agreed to that. Of course this was right at the start of a long memorial day weekend and it was quiet. The very next week, I was informed by head of finance at Oakes NKC that I signed the VIP membership and it can't be cancelled. Boy how I feel I got bamboozled into this while deal. I will not purchase another vehicle or step foot in Oakes Kia NKC again. I hope my VIP membership is good at the location in Olathe, otherwise I guess my attorney will be bringing it in for service.
