***STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS*** MY SON PURCHASED A CAR FROM THEM AND HAD TO BRING THE CAR BACK SEVERAL TIMES IN THE FIRST WEEK OF PURCHASING IT FOR ISSUES HE WAS PROMISED WOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF. EXACTLY 2 WEEKS AFTER HE PURCHASED THE CAR, IT BROKE DOWN AND THEY ARE REFUSING TO REPLACE IT OT RETURN HIS MONEY. TOTAL CROOKS !!

I bought my Golf GTI a month ago and so far I have replaced the Mass air flow sensor 253$, the turbo(that failed after week 1) 650$, the intercooler 450$, got my tires balanced and aligned after Prime said theyd do it, got an oil change due to dark oil... after Prime said theyd do it. I personally found out afterwards that the car had no muffler and was a straight pipe exaughst system... yet it passed the emission test they "CLAIMED" they ran. I left my car at the shop for a repair and it came back with dog hair everywhere and a cigarette burn hole in my back seat, they also didnt realize that the intake system was a custon cold air setup not stock. Im currently a month and a half past buying it and still diagnosing issues, the last 2 things it can be are the transmission itself or the mechatronics

The place is a joke. I asked for a car fax report 4 times and they would not provide it after they promised they would. Bad business practice!!

Let me start by saying that I have written reviews for several businesses over the years and the ratings were between mediocre to good in all cases. I am writing this review for Prime Wheels, located at 200 S. Main Street in East Windsor, CT for one major review. I think it is essential that as a consumer to vet any business and their practices and share those findings with the public to help others make the best purchasing experiences. I am giving my first EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE RATING to Prime Wheels! This is not an exaggeration and no I was not asked to write a review. I was compelled to do so based upon my car buying experience from the initial inquiry, test drive and right down to making my full cash offer and purchase. Let me tell you about Joshua Wilcox. He is the Sales Manager but never came across as a "Sales Man. This was a no pressure experience. This gentleman was honest from start to finish, full transparency. Joshua broke down all costs and details about my Chevy Equinox. (BTW) By the way for all old schoolers with respect to abbreviations as a woman, I am smart with my budget and money. The car was fairly priced, unlike to the big dealers that tried to "gas light" and pressure me into buying an Equinox that was priced at 6 Grand over the Blue Book value, with no warranty and it had 31 K more miles on it than my comfort zone would allow me to accept. I called and checked a few big dealerships and they all must use a similar play book to sale over-priced used cars. Let me tell you, this was not the case with Joshua Wilcox, nor with Jay for that matter. They were awesome and friendly, professional and all a pleasure to interact with, again from start to finish. What impressed me the most was the quality of the vehicle as well as the promised action to have my car ready, emissions tested, registered, plated, 3/4 of a tank of gas, cleaned, and ready to go. Joshua and Jay are honest. Joshua found out just in making conversation with me that I had overpaid $500 for a coverage that I will not need for another 6 months. Rather than take advantage of my lack of knowledge in this regard, Joshua carefully explained what I was paying for was already included in my current plan outside of purchasing my vehicle and that there was no need for me to waste money to pay for a need that does not yet apply. Ask yourself how many dealerships or salespeople would do that and hand you back $500 on the spot and not shrug their shoulders, pocket your money, and keep moving. I was treated with value and respect for my business as well as my time and money. White Glove Service indeed! LADIES and Gentlemen, if you really want an exceptional and honest car purchasing experience, bypass the big dealership with the used car sticker shock, high pressures sales tactics and the unpleasant waste of your time and especially your money. You owe it to yourself to at least stop by Prime Wheels and talk to Joshua or Jay for your used car. You will get the exact unique experience that I had.
