Write a reviewHi everyone would like to share my story here if not to resolve my problem then to help anyone else in the DMV or surrounding area considering doing business with AMERICAR inc 10081 N 2nd st, laurel, Md. Please share this story and forward or repost it if possible. Crazy thing is I am nowhere near the first bad review this company has received of scamming and defrauding their consumers!? NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH AMERICAR! Purchased an 06 Chevrolet Colorado for 9750 the high end of the spectrum which is an implied warranty in itself that the vehicle will last. And they also threw in (for an extra 1395$)an expressed written warranty that I never brought up, but only Valid after 14 days and 1,000 miles, Truck lasted 923 miles!?!?! NEEDS WHOLE NEW ENGINE. Worn bearings on crankshaft. Auto shop I trusted said AMERICAR could not have overlooked or not known about issue. No disclosures of any problems. Engine replacement being the biggest followed by a failing power steering pump and a drivers door window regulator that doesn’t work 9/10 times until you press a hand against the glass and help/ force it down. Surely business can not be done like this. Americar’s last response was bring it in to their mechanic to see what could be done. Laughable. I wouldn’t trust them with peddle bike.
