I purchased a 2015 Corvette, that was originally in Tucson Az. it was shipped to Salem Oregon. I test drove it with Eric, the sales representative, we discussed a few minor issues. The purchase process was thorough, and quick. Eric explained the Car Max extended warranty, which seemed reasonable for a complex car as the Corvette. After getting the car home, the issues were corrected at my local dealer. Marrisa was simply great with communication and execution of the issues. I had never dealt with Car max before, and to tell you the truth, I was really impressed with their concept and their follow through.

The experience was better than I expected. The car was ready when they said it would be ready. The staff were all friendly and professional, no one tried to upsell me. There were no surprise fees or charges for my purchase. The staff communicated with me and with each other in a timely and respectful way. The next time I am in the market for a vehicle or someone I know is, I will be making this Carmax location my first stop and first suggestion.

Although it took two different cars for my wife to settle on the one she wanted, and we had to take up a lot of your time and ours, all worked fine in the end. The staff we worked with were most pleasant.

$42k Lexus was dirty, when I picked it up. I'm talking caked on mud in the door sills and all underneath the vehicle. I had already payed $600 to have the car shipped from Denver and I drove 3 hours to the dealer to pick it up. No where in the description or photos did it show the copious amounts of dirt. I also only received a 15 day temp tag so I had to go to the DMV and wait hours to pay for another temp tag. Why the dealer didn't issue a standered 90 tag neither me or the person at the DMV will never know. Communication with my sales rep was frustrating. One day I called because my emails weren't getting responses and the employee was no longer employed.

I was amazed at how easy the whole process was! From selecting a car from the comfort of my couch to one hour at the dealership then on the road!

I love CarMax! It’s great to be able to shop for exactly what you want without having a salesperson breathing down your neck and constantly contacting you. The service in Salem was excellent! My car was everything I wanted and in wonderful condition. I saw a small flaw in one of the tires and asked if it was a problem. The service department checked it out and gave me four new tires. Wow! That’s showing that they care about their customers.
