Not enough room , however initial workNot completed...

Not enough room , however initial work Not completed until call for pickup at which time i reminded them of the AC which was then taken care of . I was quoted 650$ ishhh then but when i arrived it was 813$ which i was not expecting and I’m not clear on why the bumper to bumper warranty didn’t cover the AC motor as i was told it covered everything bumper to bumper but brakes tires wiper blades light bulbs .

PLEASANT EXPERIENCE

WE WERE HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE PROVIDED BY OUR SALESPERSON AND THE FINANCE PERSON. WE GOT A VW TIGUAN 2020 AND THEY HONORED THE LOWEST PRICE ONLINE AND THEN ADDED SOME DISCOUNTS TO MEET OUR BUDGET. WE ALSO TRADED IN OUR OLD TOYOTA HERE AND THE OFFERED PRICE WAS ALSO REASONABLE.

Made an appointment the day before , showed up the following day and they took care of me quick & easy. For a tire replacement I paid $30 thanks to the warranty they offer when you purchase a vehicle with them.

The service representative, Terrence, was fantastic....

The service representative, Terrence, was fantastic. Service was quick and courteous. The waiting room provided the right amount of social distancing and provided coffee and snacks.

Mario was very kind and patient with me as I went back and forth about my commitment to purchasing a brand new car. He completed the paperwork quickly and was very hospitable to me while I waited. I look forward to interacting with him in the future if the need arises.

Great Service

Brayner has been very helpful the few times I have taken my car there for service. He is fair and provided good advice on what needed to be repaired right then and what could wait. I trust what he says. That is a far cry from the dealership in Chicago that I used to take my Eos to. I would highly recommend Autobarn in Evanston to anyone.

The Waiting Game

buying a car isnt usually a good experience in general but this one was a rough time. Felt at times like they didnt want to sell the car. I set a meeting to see a specific car for 11am. When I arrived the car wasnt there. The manager had decided to take it home the night before and show up late. The car was not washed or vacuumed or wiped down. I gave this a pass due to the covid. I left for a test drive (a very long test drive which was very nice of them = 1 Star) asking for an appraisal on the car I brought in so we can make this a quick deal and asked to run my credit so we can get it out of the way. I came back over an hour later and nothing had been done. I sat for over an hour waiting. This is in light of the covid pandemic. I saw there was some small damage on the car during my test drive and asked for a price reduction on the car. The manager asked me to show him the damage and then after doing so pretended that was priced in. If you needed me to show you it you probably didnt know it was there. Frustrated I left. Why buy a car from someone that doesnt want to sell it. The next day George called me. He apologized for the issues and we agreed to a deal. Frankly my gut was saying no no no all over on this one. George is the only reason I wound up buying this car. We had a deal and did it over the phone. Said financing would call me shortly to finish this up. Once again I waited and waited and waited. Over 2 hours for a call back. This considering they already had my credit information. Finance calls me at the very end of the day. The deal has changed now there is a 5%+ interest charge per month (Credit score north of 800). Deals off. Georges brother Jason calls and explains the issue. Good brother really cares and George felt awful. Still decided deal was off. After the weekend George once again calls and we work out one last deal. I still look back wondering why I bought the car after all this.
