Buyer Beware š³. After some thought and consideration about the purchase of the 2016 McLaren 570ās, I feel like the car was definitely misrepresented. The day I received the car the AC did not work. The faulty water pump, the broken radiator should have been mentioned. I purchased this car out of good faith that it was in good running and driving condition and that is not the case. I have put 39 miles on the car since ownership. Due to the fact of it being in the shop since Iāve received it from Hyper Cars. The car having a misfire on multiple cylinders is not something I am willing to gamble on hoping it corrects its self over time. I do not feel like that is the responsible thing to do. I will also add that I do not appreciate being told āYou need to have thick skin to own one of these cars.ā I am a car enthusiast who has owned several hundred different makes and models throughout my life. I have been around cars and trucks that well exceed the value of this McLaren. Never once have I been talked to by a seller this way. The fact of the matter is, I wouldnāt need to have āthick skinā if the car was represented correctly. I simply would have walked away from the purchase. The reason I did purchase the car from you was because of the 100 point inspection you mentioned and the statement you made about the owner saying āThe car is the nicest 2016 570s he has ever seenā. This whole experience has been very unpleasant. I purchased the most expensive warranty that you had to offer. I was told it would cover everything on the car. My deductible was suppose to be $1,000. The Radiator and Water pump totaled too $14,000. The warranty company only covered $10,000. I was asked to come up with $4,000 instead of $1,000. The warranty company pulled these numbers out of thin air. I also did not appreciate you suggesting I commit insurance fraud by reporting the issues to the warranty company at a later date. I am asking that Hyper Cars covers the repairs for the coil packs and spark plugs. I feel that is me being more than fair with the way this transaction went down. The $3,000 doesnāt mean much to me, itās more of the principal. I was a cash buyer who overnighted you a cashiers check for $133,000 plus a $3,500 deposit. There are a lot of people financing these cars that cannot afford the unexpected bills. I am asking that Hyper Cars covers these repairs by COB today. The response you provided did not address any of my concerns about the insurance fraud you suggested. Youāre response also did not address the AC not working. I was charged $306.60. Please see attachments below. I didnāt plan on restoring a 570s McLaren. $17,000 in problems within the first 39 miles is unacceptableā¦. Who knows whatās going to break š¤¦āāļøš¤¦āāļøš¤¦āāļø
