I bought a rebuilt 2023 Jetta GLI from Auto Choice LLC.
I bought a rebuilt 2023 Jetta GLI from Auto Choice LLC. I knew it had been in a prior collision, but "as-is" doesn't cover selling a car that is flat-out missing suspension parts and has hacked-together safety systems. Right after buying it, I heard clunking from the front end, noticed the steering wheel was off-center, and found out the horn didn't work at all. I took it to Kelly VW to get checked out, and their techs found some serious issues: The right front sway bar link was completely missing. When I messaged George, he admitted his mechanic "missed installing" it and left it on the shop floor. Instead of taking care of it properly, he just mailed an aftermarket RockAuto part to my house and expected me to bolt it on myself. The airbag and horn wiring inside the steering column was hacked together with mismatched bare wires and electrical tape instead of an actual harness. The combination switch and airbag assembly were damaged, leaving an open circuit that disabled the horn and made the airbag unsafe. VW told me the car wasn't safe to drive off their lot in that state. They kept pointing to the Maryland State Police salvage inspection paperwork as proof the car was good. I called MDSP myself, and they confirmed that their inspection only checks for stolen parts, not mechanical safety or roadworthiness. On top of that, I was explicitly told in text messages that the suspension control arm was replaced and that an alignment would be completed prior to pickup. In reality, the steering wheel was noticeably off-center when I drove away, and Kelly VW confirmed the front-end alignment was out. Any real technician putting a car on an alignment rack would immediately see an empty mounting bracket and refuse to align an incomplete suspension. The "alignment" was either completely faked or eyeballed with a tape measure, completely contradicting their claims of delivering a properly repaired car. I had to pay $2,018.78 out of pocket at the VW dealer just to fix their dangerous wiring and make the car safe to drive. George replied once on October 6th suggesting I bring it back to their shop (I live in Northeastern Pennsylvania) or trade it in, but as soon as I sent over the actual dealer repair invoice and photos of the taped bare wires, he completely ghosted me. Multiple follow-up emails have gone totally unanswered. If you buy from here, do not take their word that the rebuild was done right. Get the car up on a lift at an independent mechanic and inspect every suspension part and wire harness yourself before you hand over any money.

This dealership is shady.
This dealership is shady. Vehicles are listed on cars.com showing clean titles but a CarFax lookup shows a salvage title. Reviews here and on other platforms like Google show clear signs of being fake. Nearly every 1 star review pointing out the deceptive sales tactics is countered by several 5 star reviews on/around the same date with containing what appears to be poor translations.

I visited this dealership to look at a few of the cars
I visited this dealership to look at a few of the cars they had on cars.com. First of all, most or all of the cars are re-manufactured and that is not in their descriptions. Second, the one sales person on sight was not helpful at all and when I asked to test drive one of the cars he sat me down and asked how much I wanted to spend. When I told him I wanted to spend the advertised price he said well there’s fees and taxes and you will end up paying more (as if I didn’t already know that)! Thirdly, he told me I would have to fill out a credit application before testing driving a car and there was a non-refundable $50 application fee. He seems to think women are stupid or doesn’t like doing business with women…. 0/10 do not recommend wasting your time going to this dealership.

Very happy about the recent purchase. From the test drive few cars and gathering on down selection of right car took less than 2 hr. and car purchasing process was seamless and I got out in three hrs. total. I highly suggest reaching out to him and tell him your budget and kind of car you want and he will take care of it from there.
