When I first contacted Collin about the 2015 C7 corvette (28k miles) he assured me there was nothing wrong with the car. I made the flight and purchased the car and drove it back to Austin tx. It was a 19hr trip (won’t do that again) that was driven all at once. It started snowing on the back end of Cali into AZ and then from the back end to AZ to NM then into EL Paso Texas it was solid snow coming down. I noticed a spike in rpms on cruise control when it cleared in AZ bc the roads got better and were smooth. Roads in La were terrible and couldn’t tell how rough the car was driving. Didn’t think anything of it. Got into Tx on a smooth highway and started paying attention to it. It had a shutter to the car. I called Collin as soon as I confirmed it was something but didn’t know what. Took it to a dealer to put it in service (as he said it still had power train warranty until June or July if 21) they didn’t do math very well and the car didn’t have warranty bc it ended in 20. I purchased an extended warranty to hopefully cover the car they said they inspected (I don’t think they ever did an inspection of the car). Be very weary of purchasing vehicles from this outfit. His offer was $3 a mile (he knew I drove the car back 1900 miles) plus the fee to ship it back$500-750) or he would give me $600 to help cover the warranty on the car which was quoted at $2.2k. Obviously the first option wasn’t really an option and it left me no choice but to take the $600. I wouldn’t purchase a10k car from these guys much less a freakin 180k lambo from them. He sold me a 30k mile car that had issues (which I will update when I get the final shop diag on the car) the cost of it is yet to be determined. He will holler that I purchased the car wholesale, but I have a friend that’s a dealer here in Texas that I purchased this through so I can trade my car current car though so I didn’t lose taxes moving forward. That was a formality of the deal. All in all STAY AWAY!
