They will sell a car out from under you so that a friend can get that car... if you are looking at something special here I wouldn't get your hopes up. xx reasons not to let me leave & then told me they were closed on President's Day but they weren't - they sold the car after I completed the finance ppwk and my credit was ran. Then they tried to tell me they called when someone else was interested, since I told them I would be back on Tuesday (you know - when they told me they were open again) but they did not call. Then the sales manager lied to my husband saying I determined Tuesday.... but that is not the case. Do not recommend this sales team. It is also a law in Indiana that you have 15 days to get a new car insured. I showed current, valid insurance but they wanted me to buy it without leaving with the car. It is ridiculous and obvious that they are not reputable.

I purchased a used Audi Q7 on 10/31/23 from Audi Lafayette. We drove 3.5 hours from out of state to purchase this vehicle from them because they appeared to be a reputable dealership. The salesman, Mike, was great to work with, so it’s not him. In the process of getting information from him about the vehicle, I was sent a vehicle service inspection, which included “Battery Condition- Post Condition and Midtronic Test/GFF Test” with a "Pass" on the report. The battery ran down the very night I bought it after no more than 5-7 minutes of sitting in my garage and connecting my phone to the MMI via Bluetooth. I had to charge it to be able to start it the next morning so we could leave on a trip to north Alabama and middle Tennessee. I thought maybe with all the electronics in it that it could have been my fault, but I quickly learned that was not the case. Six days after purchase, and after having to charge it or have it jumped off multiple times while traveling, I was 554 miles away having to purchase a new battery ($524.74). I was told “Management asked if you can bring it here they will take care of the battery!” It was not safe for me to be driving it, much less to travel that far on a dead battery. It also is very taxing on the alternator. The shop that replaced it actually did test the battery. It had 314 out of 850 cold cranking amps and had some corrosion at the posts and was swollen around one post and on both ends of the battery. There is no doubt that it was in this condition when the so-called inspection was done by Audi Lafayette. But now they refuse to reimburse me for any of the cost. I did buy it "as is", but it was also with the understanding that they had thoroughly and truly inspected it. My advice is do not buy a used vehicle from them!

Hello, I am very sorry to hear about your experience and the issues that you are having with your Q7. In an effort to gather additional information, I reviewed our sales records for the end of October and I do not see that we sold a pre-owned Q7. Is it possible that you purchased the vehicle from Audi Lafayette in Louisiana? We are located in Lafayette, IN so I just want to ensure that you are receiving the assistance that you need in getting this resolved! If I can help at all, please do not hesitate to reach out to me via email at nschenkel@fivestaronline.net. Thank you, Nick Schenkel Sales Manager
I fund it locally. I was trying to find a dealer in big city until I fund a car they carried. I didn’t expect to get the deal through at the first place until their man brought me to Mercedes dealership and try to help me out. And I finally get a better deal than I could get in indi. It took 4 hours to get the documents through. However they are very patient. I also get small gifts. What important is that the car has no problem at all and I didn’t need to worry about maintenance in distance. Recommend Parker and his boss.

Hello, Lou. Thank you for your recommendation and positive review of your experience with our Sales Team. We are so pleased that the patience of our team contributed greatly to your stellar, five-star purchasing experience. Thank you for being an Audi Lafayette customer and let us know if we can assist you further.
I had a great experience purchasing a new Audi E Tron Sportback from Matthew Bogdan at Audi Lafayette. Matthew was very responsive when I inquired about the vehicle. He was also easy and straightforward to negotiate with. After driving from Cincinnati to Lafayette to pick up the vehicle, the purchase finalization process was great. I love my new car and would do business with this dealership again. Thank you!
