After having a miserable experience with the finance department at Mancari Dodge of Oak Lawn Il. I decided to head to Bettenhausen to discuss my options with Nick Pattenaude (Sales Manager). After discussing how Mancaris internet team got me to come in to the dealer to see a car that wasn't even there. (At this time I realized they pulled the old Bait and switch). However they did have several cars that were very close in price. Eventually I chose a car and after a while of haggling, myself and the finance manager shook hands and closed the deal, or so I thought we closed the deal, at the time of going over the final paperwork somehow my length of my loan grew by several months. When I question how this could happen they claimed this was all they could do to reach my monthly payment, although several moments ago we shook on both the payment and the length that was agreed on. At this time I Left, bottom line is Mancari sucks! After venting to Nick about how much Mancaris sucks, we got down to business I told Nick where I needed to be on payment and on length of the loan. Not more than 45mins went by, Nick approached me and said lets go pick out your new Dodge Avenger there were three that fit my price range the only decision left was what color would I like. Nick made my new car buying experience a very pleasant one, I will definetly refer all my family and friends to Bettenhausen.

After my wrecked car was deemed a total loss, I had less than a week to find a new one. Everyone at Bettenhausen including my salesperson, Steve Klimara, the financial group and the Service department made sure my every wish was granted! Steve helped me find an awsome 200, the finance group got me a fabulous rate for the loan and the Service group made a few alterations to include the options I wanted. I had spent the week at several dealerships and test drove many vehicles. Most dealers didn't give me credibility because I am a single woman. I chose Bettenhausen because I believe they gave me the best possible deal and treated me with dignity and respect.

David Martinez is a great salesperson and this dealership is amazing! No pressure and straight to the point I use to be a Thomas Dodge customer but after I visited this dealership I will never return back to Thomas. I highly recommend Benttenhausen Dodge Ram. Best car dealership experience I have ever had. I bought a Jeep from Bettenhausen in 2012 and went back for my new Dodge Durango a year later. Love this dealership, no BS and they do not waste your time. Nick was great we looked at the inventory and figured they did not have what I wanted so we ordered it directly from dodge. Took exactly 3 weeks from day of order, which was faster than I though it would take. Nick kept me up-to-date throughout the 3 weeks. When I went to finish deal nothing changed besides the incentives which meant more $$ off for me. I would highly recommend this dealership and Nick they are awesome. No haggles and no one trying to sell you something else, or force you into a car that is not exactly what you want.

I was shopping for about 3 weeks on the internet, then I narrowed down what I needed based on my requirements for a vehicle. There are sites like CarGuru that have a long listing based on what you are looking for, its via a comparison of those sites that I ended up researching not only the vehicle but also the car dealership inself for a possible purchase. As someone that hasnt bought a car in a while (+ 5 years) my first surprise was the test drive, the salesperson Nick Nowak just let me point to the car i wanted to test and got the keys for me. He didnt barge in with a sales pitch nor did he come on the test drive with me for more sales pitches - It was great to be able to sample the ride by myself and test the ride and conveniences that the vehicle came equipped with. After another visit and more test driving, I ended up purchasing the vehicle (2003 Honda Odyssey). There were two items that I noted to Nick that needed servicing and they were both fixed before i took delivery of the vehicle, they were in fact fixed with Honda parts and no aftermarket parts. The fixes were not same day but i learned you just have to wait on the parts then the repairs are done promply by Bettenhausens service dept. Not getting a big drawn out sales pitch and not being constantly followed around in their lot were big plusses in my book, goes along their motto of " no hassles " which i found to be true. In my phone calls or emails i checked in with Amy (frontdesk), Laura (service), Mike Cozzolino (internet), Alec Bettenhausen and of course Nick Noval (salesperson). There were a couple of others including the two porter guys but i cant remember their names - I can say that for all the folks i worked with Bettenhausen has a very friendly and most helpful staff. It can be a long haul to get to Bettenhausen but it's worth the trip. Two Thumbs Up, keep up the good work folks. - Gonzalo in Chicago

Great! Super Friendly! Easy to work with! I wish I would have made my way to Bettenhausen sooner. The "No Pressure" buying experience was definitely different from most of the other dealerships that I've dealt with, and I've bought and traded many a vehicle through the years. I had been dealing with a local dealership in my area on 4 new vehicle purchases in the last 2 years or so, but it was because of some "antics" that they pulled on my last purchase that I decided to look elsewhere for a better deal and more importantly, a better "car buying" experience. When I called Bettenhausen, they put me in touch with Ryan Scarpelli. Great guy. Funny, easy to talk to, and completely able to put himself in my shoes, as far as with what I had gone through elsewhere. There were no games and most of all....no pressure. He did all of the legwork and got back to me in a timely manner. In fact, we spoke several times, and since he understood what I needed, where I wanted to be with my trade in, what kind of an interest rate and payment I was looking for, and what kind of new vehicle I wanted....it all worked out "nice and easy" in the end. I especially like the fact that Ryan did the entire deal from "front to back", as they say at the dealership. There was no "stuffy" finance guy to deal with and no hidden agenda on the part of the dealership. The paperwork was straight forward and to the point. Everything we had talked about, and agreed upon, was there in simple easy to understand terminology. You can't go back and "do over" lifes experiences, especially when it comes to car buying, but you can learn your lessons and move forward in a positive direction. I definitely won't be buying any more vehicles from my "local dealership", as I have found a better no nonsense approach as a result of taking a chance on Bettenhausen. It paid off and we are happier and better off for it. I would highly recommend Ryan Scarpelli. He's good at what he does, but more importantly....sincere and not like your typically car salesman. Kudos to Bettenhausen!! We'll definitely be back.

Don Peterson and Scott Abramowicz are the greatest. They were able to give me a good price, a great interest rate and an even better trade in price on my old vehicle. They were extremely helpful, courteous, efficient. Their knowledge of the Dodge line of vehicles is next to none. I have purchased at least 14 new vehicles in the last 12 years and this has been the best experience ever. Not once did they try to "push" extras so they could make the price higher. My advice to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle, stop here first, you will not have to look any further.

Sales staff was very friendly and accommodating during the entire process. I was able to test drive multiple cars in order to decide which I liked best. Once I chose my vehicle, they worked with me and the banks to get me a monthly payment I could afford. In addition, Steve Klimara did a thorough overview of all car features, since this was my first time purchasing a new vehicle. I chose the dealership for the no-hassle attitude and reputation in the community. I will go back when I need my next car.
