Great place for a reasonable vehicle.

Great place for a reasonable vehicle. I didn’t plenty of research and came back to the same place I started. Highly recommend!

Kinda shady.

Kinda shady. Guy runs it out of a shed. Check engine light on in a few cars , says he doesn’t clear them. No financing options. Cars were not the cleanest as it looks in the photos. Would not go there again.

Southside Automotive Group was excellent when it came to communication, flexible pricing, and helping us find a quality Vehicle. I have been driving my 2017 Chevrolet Cruze for almost a month now, and I have had zero issues. Would definitely recommend to anyone trying to find a reliable used car.

Cars smell of mold.

Cars smell of mold. Most likely salvage cars. My husband and daughter went to see 2 different cars and they both smelled of mold and mildew. I wouldn’t recommend this place and pictures are very deceiving.

Had a great experience!

Had a great experience! We came from MS searching for a vehicle as prices in Birmingham were much cheaper than they were in our home town. After arriving and driving the 2 vehicles we came for, we finally made up our mind. Here we are 3 weeks later and our little daughter got her birthday gift! Super stoked

Bought car and found that there was major damage

Bought car and found that there was major damage underneath. No return. Wouldn’t work with me. Said they weren’t aware of any issues with car when I asked them about it. All I was told was “I’m sorry”. The axils were bad and the two front tires needed replacing. Mechanic said car was unsafe to drive and I found this out after I left the lot and drove home on the interstate. The axils could have broken coming home which could have caused my death or another’s. Janson or Lee didn’t seem concerned about that at all. Not to mention that I used all of my savings to purchase a crappy car that was not safe to drive. I’m very disappointed in this business. I will never go back or recommend them to anyone.

The car’s struts also needed replacing as well as the front tires. When I asked Jansen if he could reduce the price he said no because it had NEW TIRES on it. Basically I was lied to about everything that I asked about the car. Then, Jansen said he wasn’t aware of the problems when he sold it to me. He also said that they don’t do returns. So now I’m stuck with a car that I’m scared to drive. It sat in my garage until I could afford to get it fixed. It cost more to fix it than what I paid for it. I told Jansen that this was a terrible way to run a business. My hands were tied at this point and I was stuck in this situation.

I wanted to take a moment to let everyone know what a terrific dealership this is. The owners are so professional and accommodating and even took the time to bring me my garage door opener that I left in my trade in, which was really above and beyond. I got exactly the vehicle I was looking for at a good price, and I received a very fair price for my trade in. I highly recommend Southside Automotive Group! I LOVE the Volvo C30 T5 that I purchased from them (which isn't listed as an option below, but I believe is comparable to an Audi Q5).
