Salesman kept asking me to come in when I asked for some kind of paper showing me the numbers as I have seen on TikTok videos.i found this dealer is on an FTC warning letter for Deceptive Pricing practices' did a search for FTC Warning letters auto dealerships and this the others below under one dealership group. The website is a government website that is part of the FTC legal library with the actual warnings. FTC statement: This letter is to advise you that you may be advertising prices for cars that are lower than what you actually charge consumers. These are the 4 dealerships under one dealer group. cc: Airpark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Dealer Showcase Honda Capitol Chevrolet of Austin Vandergriff Honda Go to Tik Tok or YouTube and look for videos on (how to buy car yourself without being fleeced by the dealership) I didn't know about this website till after I had this bad experience with Capitol Chevrolet of Austin. Check reviews, watch videos and if you did buy a car from these dealerships, I would ask an AI to look at your paperwork by photographing it and seeing if you need to get some money back by going through TX DMV and the FTC.

Where to start? Same old sale tactics. Bait and switch ("The one you want is no longer available"). Inflated prices for "optional dealership installed components" that go down to make it look like they are doing you a favor. The long wait to get you desperate and sign anything. The sales person promising to get you the best rates when its not their job. The car was spotted on Cargurus with different prices, the contact from the dealership, which probably was a bot, promising to honor the prices but no one new the person that responded to the original availability request. As a matter of fact, they claimed they had no relationship at all with CarGurus. At the end you end up paying the same as every other dealership. One blank form to sign, which I rejected. The sales people even had the audacity to request a perfect review score before I left the place. Oh, and I got covid after eating your tacos, might not be related but only I had some and my other family members did not get it. On positive note, we like the car!

My experience with Capitol Chevrolet from my salesman Quincy to my finance advisor Jesse was great. Quincy worked with us to make the best deal and Jesse found the best financing for us. I was able to save over $6000 on my new Traverse Z71. Thank you to all that took care of us.

I had a fantastic experience at Capitol Chevrolet. I reside in Georgia, but found a great deal online for a Chevrolet Traverse that I wanted. I was able to work with them and get the out of state deal completed with minimal hiccups. Not I only did I receive a great price that beat out most dealers across the states, but the whole team from sales to finance and the managers were great to deal with. Special shout out to Alex my sales rep who kept me in the loop and made sure I was taken care of properly. Overall excellent experience that I would recommend to others!
