I went to look at a car on Saturday. Drive it. Liked it. Told the sales person I'd come in Monday to buy it since they were closed on Sunday. Monday morning I emailed them telling them I would come in at 12:30 to buy the car. I also called and left a voicemail message. I called them at 10:30 and spoke to someone saying I would be in at 12:30. I called at 12:00 and said I am leaving now and will be there at 12:30 to buy the car. When I got there at 12:30 they had someone in their office signing papers to buy the car I told them I wanted. They said that I did not put a deposit down yet they never told me that he deposit would be required for them to hold it. Very unscrupulous dealer and does not keep to his word, only cares about the almighty dollar.

Marco, the salesman, was very helpful and the sales experience was great. However, the car I bought has been a HUGE disappointment. It was clear that the brakes were soft, and I expected to need new pads. That's just normal wear and tear and not a deal breaker. Installed new pads AND rotors, and it's still pedal to the floor in order to stop. So, I took it to the dealership and found out the master cylinder is shot. I just approved another $1,600 in repairs for a car that I've owned less than a week. All together, I've spent another 40% of what I paid for the car! I paid over $2K additional to make this car drivable. I'd have just looked for another vehicle worth $2K more if I had planned to spend that much. They have a slick website for browsing inventory, but the operation is definitely sketchy. Maybe you'll have better luck than I did, but I would not buy another used car from them. I feel no more confident in buying a car from Carvista than I would in just buying one on Facebook Marketplace.
