This establishment uses high pressure tactics, and when we refused to sign a credit check the manager lost his cool and yelled at us. We had already established our financing with a personal bank and wanted to still check our credit, and sell our personal information. He claimed it was for OFAC and was federal law. When I asked to see the federal statute is when the chaos ensued. There is NO PLACE in the statute where a car dealership needs to check for a customer that has previous established financing. https://sanctionssearch.ofac.treas.gov/ https://www.congress.gov/107/plaws/publ56/PLAW-107publ56.pdf My wife and I are also military so it's nice to see how they treat active service members!
