I wanted to share my experience I had on my visit and purchase of my new RAM 1500 pickup and dealing with Woody Sowder at Akins Ford CDJ RAM. Woody was very professional and courteous and was very helpful in making sure I was happy with the value of my trade-in. When I arrived at the dealership on this Saturday afternoon there were two other customers ahead of me, and he never blinked an eye and got us all in a new vehicle before they closed that day. What does that tell you about his salesmanship. I would also like to give a shout out to the finance manager, Matt Tanner, and what a great job he did for me on the financing of my new truck. WOW!! first time buyer on a new truck 500 miles away, Woody and the crew at Akins made it so easy. Communication was great email/phone, I could not believe how they took care of it by fedx the paper work to be signed and then pick me up at airport to see my beautiful new truck. And also the price could not be beaten at any local dealership in my home town.(saved thousand's $) I just said well I guess I'll give this a shot and buy it 500 miles away. It could not have worked out any better, price, customer service, pick up at airport, what more could you need. I was also shocked to see how huge this dealership was, thousand's of cars, trucks, very impressive. Owner/Akins was right there in middle of showroom taking care of business. Good to see that. Eric was so helpful in getting details as the car was being built and shipped to us - ordered in Dec 2012 but knew it would not begin to be built util Feb 2013. Then the recall for the headlights postponed it again. Eric kept us informed all along the way. Woody was waiting for us when we arrived at the dealership and had everything ready to proceed - very professional and yet made us feel like family! Bill was also very professional in closing out the financial side and even shopped the best rates and gave us options before signing.
