Not a top tier Ford Lincoln Dealership - RUN AWAY, but if you must do business with Joe Machens Ford Lincoln bring your mechanic and lawyer. From inaccurate vehicle information, faulty vehicle preparation, bad internal processes, staff that don’t know the facts about legal requirements and options or Ford Lincoln internal processes, and a service team that can’t accurately diagnosis and correct a basic oil leak. By far the worst and most time consuming purchase of a used vehicle in my lifetime. I feel sorry for the area residents who live with this auto groups performance.

Chris Early is not a service advisor I would recommend. He has not contacted up once about our vehicle in for service. Any contact I had to be the one to call and find out what was going on. So March the 29, 2026 I dropped out Ford Maverick off and have not heard anything from him I called him on Tuesday and he had nothing to say yet. On Wed when I called he said it had a lot of errors codes. On Thursday I was told when I went in person that it had an engine on order by a different service advisor but yet to hear Anything from Chris Early. I call the next day to him about a lower vehicle and was given the runaround by him saying we don't have anything to call my sales man. I go into the dealership to find out who my salesman was and was told to go back to service. Mind you it was in since Sunday so Monday. I have not asked for a car till I found out it had a blown engine. I also have blue oval extended plan. But I really feel I should not be the one to contact the dealer ship to keep finding out what is going on. Not a fan of this person Chris Early if he won't contact you for anything and you have to make all the contact. Poor service advisor. Not recommended. Terry Montague

Sold my vehicle to Joe Machens Ford in Columbia, MO under the impression that they were a reputable business who values their customers. They told me that they would not be able to sell my car on the lot and that it would have to be sent to auction because it was 8 years old. They said they would most likely “only get a few hundred bucks” after paying auction fees. We agreed to a price based off the assumption that my car wasn’t worth much due to its age. Ford then proceeded to put my car on the lot with a sale price that was over double what they paid me for it. I went back to Ford to question them about why they didn’t offer me a fair price. They simply said if I wasn’t happy with the price they offered then I shouldn’t have sold it to them. I will not be doing business with them in the future and neither should you.

Duron was patient and kind and helped figure out financial package that we didn't understand. Jordan set up our cell phones in the vehicle. We realize we have to use the technology to really understand it but I am very intimidated by it all and alarmed that so much learning is done on the screen. Both Duron and Jordon were very friendly and receptive to letting us call with questions. My husband and I both realize we should probably have had one of our children help us make such a big purchase.

I feel 6 hours was too long to drive two cars then pay cash for one, but a good experience over all. The service dept. didn't do what they were supposed to though.
