Write a reviewSam Scism does not stand behind the products they sell. We have been without the vehicle we purchased from them since December. We purchased an extended warranty, and they replaced a motor. It still threw codes. They now say they cannot fix it, and shipped it to another dealer after replacing the motor. They refuse to give us a truck to drive, stating they don't have one, even though they have a parking lot full of them. They have not offered to trade it back or replace it. The last conversation we had ended in "vehicles break every day, and it's not our responsibility." Buyer beware. Go somewhere else. We have owned a vehicle for 9 months, and it's been in the shop for almost half that time. We are completely dissatisfied with their customer service and the rude treatment by the service manager.

TDLR not an honest shop. Will blatantly lie to you about what is going on with your vehicle. My sister bought 2 vehicles from there. Her kia was overheating, so she took it in. Jen told her it would get taken care of. She told my sister that her master mechanic looked at it, but it would have to be taken to Kia. Then she told my sister that they tried to drive an overheating car to St. Louis needs to be towed. My sister called me in to help, and it turned out it never left the dealership and was just the belt tensioner. It was never driven to Kia. The master mechanic never looked at it it was all just blatant lies. They gave her a $300 discount to compensate for the LIES. Then they took their Ford in for a new engine. Got it back and it had an oil leak, took it back in and got that fixed, shortly after the crank case breather on the new engine needs replaced and they are saying it is not covered and it's going to be $1k. Further, when I had my shop, they would try to steal my customers if we had to use them to reflash a TCM. Honestly, I don't know how anyone can run a shop, let alone a dealership this way, and still be in business. Or how Jen still has a job. And no, this honest review will not be taken down. The public needs to know what is being pulled.

With the semiconductor chip shortage causing short supply of new vehicles, I traveled out of state to purchase my truck from this dealer. Four identical F150 trucks were on the lot, in four different colors. I was told the price was the same on any of the four, and was pressured by someone who I assumed was a manager, to take delivery that day. I hadn't decided which color I would purchase, and didn't have the title to my trade in with me. The pressure continued, but I told them I would return the following day. The price had mysteriously increased $50.00 overnight, and I said no deal, forget it. They quickly backed down knowing they would lose me, and I was lied to regarding the discrepancy. Upon returning home, I discovered the certificate of origin had been held, and without my knowledge. (I paid cash) I spoke with an extremely rude woman on the phone, and was told this was their company policy, which I understand, but was not informed of. While I really like my new truck, and have no issues with price or the trade allowance, buying from this dealer was anything but pleasant, and definitely not recommended.

I've bought a couple of vehicles from Sam Scism Ford over the years, the last one being a 2014 Focus. Good little car except for the transmission. Has been messed up for the 3rd time since I bought it new. This time it has been at the dealership for 3 months. I've been in contact with Ford Customer Service and was told to contact Jason the service manager. Seems he don't have time to deal with customers. Was called on 8/23 and told my car was done. Picked it up and went 3 miles and it quit on me again. I don't believe anything was done to the car, they just wanted it and me to go away.

I find the facilities to always be clean and plenty of people around to help. At this point you don’t have to wait very long and you can get a deal working.
