I cannot speak for the sales department, but getting my car serviced has been a joke. Their communication is less than lackluster, and it seems their desire to give me my car back is nonexistent. My car broke down while driving through the area from Ohio to Philadelphia in mid-November. SCF was our choice to get our repairs done, but I was told they couldn’t take it until December 2nd. Given parts shortages, holidays, and Covid, I accepted that this would be the best we would be able to do and was patient. They looked at my car and confirmed what we had thought was wrong: a blown turbo. They said they could have it fixed in a week. Over a week later, I had not heard from them, so I called to see what was happening. They then informed me that they had put my engine back together with a twisted seal and had to take it apart again to fix that. The following week, I called them again and they then informed me that the car had broken down on the test drive. They said they believed it was now a cracked piston and would likely require a full engine assembly replacement. This was two days before Christmas. Again I waited through the holidays, and when I hadn’t heard from SCF, I called them stating that I needed to speak to a manager because this was becoming unacceptable - the manager knew nothing of my situation. I was told that they were waiting for my warranty company to contact them, and that was the last I have heard. That occurred on January 10th. The phone call lasted 21 seconds. I have not heard from them since. Prior to this (aside from the holidays), I had been calling twice or once a week. Now here I sit in limbo because my second car is stuck in a town 5 hours away. Sure would have been nice to have my all wheel drive vehicle during the snow storm a few weeks ago.

Long time Ford guy new to this dealer
I switched back to this dealer because Jeff Kresge had the good sense to tell me the price and take my check without playing games. I left this dealer years ago after a very different experience. I don?t walk into a dealership without knowing what I want and how much I?m willing to pay. All I need from the salesman is the price. Jeff understood that. Most don?t. They now do all of my service and repair also.

Stay away from this dealer.
This Ford dealer will not reasonably negotiate price, nor give fair value on trade in. I bought a vehicle from these guys and overpaid because I was in a crunch at the time and needed a car now. I have returned to this dealer for service and rarely do I get a good feeling afterwards. Apparently there is minimal supervision of the techs, some who are hateful towards law enforcement customers, as I am one. Car is returned dirty and repairs don?t last. Their charges are outrageous.

Tried to sell us something more than we ask. Pushy. Ran Vin # was an unsafe car. We were not happy they tried to sell anyone a junk yard unfixable transmission that even Ford recalled multipal times and will not do amything about anymore.on a 2014 Ford Foucus for 8500.oo

Wonderful and Unparalleled Experience
A wonderful experience, from beginning to end. We are from New York and decided to go to just look at cars. We were greeted by Jordan and immediately knew we were in great, helpful and caring hands. We spent a good deal of time going through all the options that they had. I must say that there was a wonderful selection to chose from... We left the dealership and thought, we just had an incredible experience. A week later, as we were thinking about our next steps and where in NY/NJ we should go look for a car, we decided that we were not going to continue our search and look in New York. We realized that we had found the car that we liked. We had found a salesperson that had already given us an elevated buying experience (we hadn't bought yet) and we wanted to work with him and State College Ford. Fast forward to less than a month later, we are the proud owners of Black Ford Explorer. We got exactly what we wanted and at a price that we thought was reasonable. We had a wonderful and unparalleled experience, that is all due to Jordan Gillingham! My partner, Colin, and I could not be happier and happily recommend State College Ford for your Ford/Lincoln needs AND remember ask for Jordan!

I bought my Explorer from State College Ford and had a recall, they were so fast to respond to get it taken care of, and also assisted me to get back and forth from work while my car was getting the recall fixed. Very good service I would recommend them to all my friends and family.
