Untrustworthy

I recently purchased a vehicle from the pre-owned car lot. I brought the vehicle in for a dash replacement (which was agreed upon prior to purchasing the vehicle) and Tim, my sales consultant and Donnie my sales manager tried to pull one over on me and put on a dash skin, rather than replace the entire thing. It didn’t even look professional. I immediately brought the vehicle back in to get it removed, and they tried to give me the run around. I am just very disappointed in the service here at the dealership and would not recommend anyone to the pre-owned car lot. I have tried to contact the Vice President who work higher up and have yet to hear back from them I have lost all respect and trust in Quantrell Subaru.

Good just got better.

Got my 2014 Forester from here. Good solid vehicle. Quantrell just upgraded it's waiting room....VERY nice! Also have Saturday service hours now....though I will not be using them. Nice to sit in their waiting room (for an oil change) on a weekday eating fresh donuts and good coffee. This is a great place to buy great vehicles.

The Quantrell Website

The website is a disaster. The photos don't match the description. Used cars are listed weeks after they have been sold or wholesaled. The only way to see what they have is the old fashioned- way-go walk the lot. Sales people tell me the web site has been outsourced to a service company. That company needs to be fired. End of... I have been very satisfied with the service on my 2015 Forester, and am trying to buy a 2nd car, but I don't have time every week to go to the dealership to see what has come in. PLEASE FIX THE WEBSITE!!

Exceptional Car Purchase Experience

Quantrell is an exceptional dealership. They are very honest and transparent. This car purchase experience was very pleasant. I also was impressed with the services that are offered to customers after the sale of the vehicle. Quantrell obviously wants to build long term relationships. They are not just interested in selling you a vehicle. They genuinely really care about making sure you are satisfied before, during, and after the sale.

Darren on the sales staff was great.

Darren was our contact person and was excellent. Having researched many cars most salespersons know less about the car, equipment options, controls, than I do. Darren was the exception, he knew the product very well, was informative and well researched on the vehicle. In addition at check out he took a great deal of time to show all controls, link cell phones, and follow through on all items. He also had the car up front and ready to drive for both the test drive and pick up. One of the best sells persons I have encountered in the car business. Darren should be in management and setting the standard on how things should be done. Business manager made a speedy checkout without pressure for numerous add ons which was greatly appreciated.

They work with you!

I just bought my new 2015 Subaru Forester on March 30, 2015. They are fair with trades and very nice/helpful overall. Being a woman and coming from Boston, you are always "on guard" when it comes to card dealings, but I truly felt they offer a good, reasonable deal. I will highly suggest them to my friends. I haven't experienced customer service yet so I hope they kick xxx also. Thank you Quantrell. You guys rock!

New car purchase

10 minute phone conversation with Terry to buy a new car. 1 1/2 hour drive. 1 hour paperwork/ look over car. Drive home in new car. It should always be this easy. Our 2nd car purchased in Lexington. Won't buy from Louisville dealers.

Unfortunately my view of Quantrell was disappointing.

After negotiating over the phone the price of my 2015 Legacy, I received the papers in the mail to sign as I live three hours away. Upon arriving to pick up my car I was shocked and aggravated to be told my contract was wrong and I would need to sign a new one with an increased payment. Upon speaking to the manager about the problem, he was rude and would not even shake my hand and made me feel like it was my fault for not noticing the mistakes on the original contract! Then he never apologized for the mistake he made and basically told me to deal with it. I should have left then but I didn't. Then 5 days later I learn they cashed my 500.00 deposit I made to hold the Legacy before I got there. I was told by two people that the check would be shredded! I am furious! My bank account was messed up! It took ME, NOT Quantrell two days to fix it! I love my Subaru but I would NEVER purchase another vehicle here!

This is the second Subaru I've purchased at Quantrell...

This is the second Subaru I've purchased at Quantrell and it won't be the last. Product, service and management are as good as they can be. I feel I paid the right price for a very good vehicle. The trade value of the car I bought the last time was just fine, showing that the car held its value even though I'd driven it 60K miles in 3 years. Whenever I've needed service I take my car to Quantrell. I know it's not the cheapest it town but I also know the work is done very well so the (very) few extra bucks is worth it. I've never had a question they couldn't answer and I've never had anything but a good experience there. Even the coffee is good.

From the moment I first made contact with the Quantrell...

From the moment I first made contact with the Quantrell Subaru dealership through Jim Grisso and Ray Robinson I was treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. As a recent graduate, who just moved to the country from Canada, there were a number of difficulties associated with me getting my loan and the dealership helped me through each step with little to no hassle. I believe the president of the company even went out of his way to make sure I got the best deal I could! As a veterinarian I had very specific needs and wants concerning my vehicle and both Jim and Ray spent the time to go over why the Outback was the best car for me. All in all I would (and will) recommend the dealership to everyone I meet!
