Kind, knowledgeable, reasonable, and patient.
I came all the way from southern CT, and it was more than worth the ride. I also came after work on a Monday and everyone that i dealt with stayed and helped me out to their full extent which already was a blessing in disguise. I found the car i wanted and Ted had called me back within minutes ( a lot of the handling was done over the phone and online due to distance) and he helped me along the whole process. Jason was able to explain everything monetary and was also just as kind. A lot of the staff that was on hand was able introduce thwmselves. After all was said and done, they both showed me the bells and whistles of my new golf. I appreciate them hanging around beyond the call of duty to help me receive the best experience possible. I’ll definitely be back.

WARNING: DO NOT TRAVEL TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP! Better yet, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP! I called this morning to inquire about a GTI that is listed for sale, and confirmed that it was still available. I explained that I was driving 2 HOURS EACH WAY IN TRAFFIC from CT, and TAKING ONE OF MY FEW REMAINING VACATION DAYS, and asked if they could hold it for a couple hours. Got to the dealer, went through all the motions of getting my trade-in appraised, even took the thing for the test drive. Everything's going great! I think I'll put a deposit down. Go to grab a coffee before I pull out the trusty old credit card, and am greeted with the question "How do you feel about red? I feel terrible, but the car you came here for is actually sold". Not meaning in the last couple of hours since I called, no. This car has BEEN sold. I did not take one of my few remaining vacation days, and drive 4 hours round trip for a bright red GTI, I am not interested in a bright red GTI (sounds crazy, but that's the reason I asked about the grey one). After calculating my vacation day that was unnecessarily burned, my time wasted (roughly 6 hours total), gas, etc, Hudson Valley Volkswagen cost me $500. How do they make this right? By trying to up-sell me on a more expensive model, and coming down on the price enough to reduce the monthly payment $5 off ticket price. Not a penny more, after that incredible mess of an unorganized screw up. Wouldn't want to come out of the royal screw up without milking me for a nice profit, or god forbid LOSE MONEY. Could you even imagine losing a few bucks to make things right with a potential lifelong customer to admit you just cost him a day of his life, and money? To not even know which cars you have available for sale. Even KNOWING the potential buyer is traveling from out of state and taking a day off from work. By the way - TO THE BUYER OF THE 2015 GTI SE, VIN: 3VWYT7AU0FM083095 WITH A LEGALLY BINDING SALE INDICATING MILAGE, OWNERSHIP, AND FINALIZED FINANCING - Your car drives pretty nice, buddy. I hope I save someone else from this same experience in the future through this review.

Best dealership in hudson valley
Any time my wife and I buy a car it is always a problem, but not a hudson valley VW. SCOTT always takes care of us, and also the service is absolutly amazing, Will and Jason at the service desk are fantastic and the head tech Pat is great. I know if there is ever a problem they will fix if even if they have to take the car home will us they have done that a lot,(we are tough people to,deal with). So I will always buy a car from there and always recommend them.

Excellent Experience
I travel an 1.5 hours to get to Hudson Valley Volkswagon. There is a service center closer to me but I choose to take the longer drive because of how easy from start to finish with HV. I had to reschedule because of the weather and they were understanding. Friendly, helpful and the service didn't take long, I waited while they worked on my car. Highly recommend the service department!

Late Friday night service with no call or appt.
I hit a pothole at high speed on the highway. I stopped into HV VW late Friday at night with my GTI. The service staff took me right in with no prior call or appointment. They fixed the damage and had me out in less than an hour. It was amazing service.

Professional and courteous

I've been having my Volkswagen serviced here since I bought it in 2012. They always go above and beyond. Everyone I have dealt with has been professional and friendly, and more importantly they can be trusted to not try to get the customer to make repairs that are not needed.

Helpful, professional service
I have been a regular customer of HV Volkswagon since I bought my car there in 2005. As usual, they provided reliable service in a professional manner. In addition to the oil change that I needed, the serviceman checked my tires, brakes, a multipoint inspection and lubricated the doors and trunk. I was only charged for the oil change, for which I had a coupon in addition. I always feel that I can count on help when I need it and that my older car will be safe.
