Purchase of new Explorer

When it came to pay for the vehicle, I was notified that wheel locks and nitrogen were added by the dealer to the vehicle. I told the person that I did not order these items. He said that I had no choice and had to pay for them. When I got home with my Explorer, I noticed that there were no wheel locks on it and questioned the nitrogen in the tires. I called the salesman. They refunded the $89.00 + tax they charged me for the wheel locks and installed a set at no charge ?for my trouble?. There is nothing to indicate that there is nitrogen in the tires. They charged me $150. + tax for the nitrogen which I didn?t want or order. I waited almost six months for the vehicle.

Elder Ford in Romeo Michigan

Elder Ford in Romeo gave me the best deal. I worked with Martin and he was the best salesman. Both my Dad and I sold him 2 cars and bought 2 new cars from Martin and i will be a return customer.

Communication is a part of customer service

What I will say is this is a new dealership and it is beautiful. The employees are nice and they are courteous but they need to communicate amongst themselves better. I feel like by the time something reaches upper management it needs to become a priority issue and the follow through should be checked if you tell a customer that something is going to happen will be done then he needs to be done and that?s when the managers need to make sure that it?s done

F-150 AC compressor replacement

I waited two weeks for appointment, truck sat on lot for two more days before they looked at it and decided they needed to order parts, by then it was nearing the holiday weekend and the part was delayed. Nearly two weeks to replace an AC compressor is un acceptable!! Also told them vehicle has vibration at highway speeds, they couldn't detect vibration but charged me for it anyway . I still have that vibration.

Buying my lease vehicle

I leased my vehicle 3 years ago from Suburban Ford. When my lease was up, I went to Elder Ford of Romeo to purchase my lease due to Derek Britton, the salesman who assisted me with my original lease.

Shady financing

I was taken by the dealership in a very shady way. Was never honest from the start. Reporting to BBB. News station as well. Unbelievable

Not happy

Waited three hours even though i had an appointment. Financing got me almost a 6% interest rate. When i questioned the rate they said that?s just the going rate for used cars today. I made one phone call to a different bank and got a 2.5 interest rate. Now i get to refinance a truck before i make the first payment.
