This is a very shady dealership. I went back and forth with the saleslady and the manager all day. I received an email documented quote for the vehicle of $20,835 plus tt&l, no additional fees. This quote included all party names, the vehicle vin number, and the out the door price. I am an out of town buyer, so I wanted to do all my due diligence prior to any paperwork. The saleslady repeatedly asked me to get the paperwork started, often ignoring many of my questions. I talked to the manager on the phone and she explained that they took this car in on a lease return, and we went over the deal. Just prior to my willingness to sign the paperwork, I did a final check of the vehicle on the dealer's website, and it had increased to $23,998 for the same vehicle with the same vin. I pointed this out to the saleslady who was still pushing hard to get the deal done. I asked the saleslady to check the price now. She came back and explained that the car was now $23,998 and that she has nothing to do with the price. I went over the price with the sales manager, and received a written quote. Does the sales manager have nothing to do with the price? Why is she sending me a written quote then? This is the same dealership that will charge your grandmother or grandfather, who don't know any better, close to $2000 for an Apex GPS system that their actual cost is somewhere around $150. This is the same dealership with numerous bait and switch complaints. Do yourself a favor, stay far, far, away.

My recent visit to the dealership epitomized the sleaziness of the old snake-oil salesman. The experience was way beyond my worst imagination of a sleazy sales. They should be ashamed of themselves. I understand they are in the business to make money but there is no need to lie to get someone in your front door! Talk about leaving a bad taste, after my experience with Northwest Freeway Hyundai dealership, I have no desire to set foot into any auto dealership again. I really thought things had changed for the better over the years. Evidently not at Northwest Freeway Hyundai dealership.

Northwest Hyundai: Lack of empathy after my new car broke down after 17 days. I did not get a rental right away. I had to ask family/friends for a ride to work. Got a car rental 4 days after my new car broke down. Northwest Hyundai refused to offer an appropriate discount for a different vehicle I wanted. No concession discounts offered. I felt deceived by the dealership. They need to be trained to follow up with customers.

Dealership refused to remove add-ons that I did not want for the vehicle purchase. If the vehicle needed to be sold for a different price then do not advertise a lower price.

Made an appointment for an oil change on Saturday. Everything went smoothly- in and out in less than an hour with a car wash. Paul was the service manager and saw that everything went as promised.

This was, by far, the worst customer service I've ever received. They falsely advertised a vehicle I was interested in (still marketed at false price) and refused to honor the advertised price. It was difficult getting anyone to return calls or e-mails with information on the vehicle and even the manager (Sam) didn't take the time to provide helpful information. Steve Mendoza, the salesperson couldn't even explain the cost breakdown of the vehicle. Sam, the manager, was extremely condescending in his tone. It's obvious that he doesn't care about customer service. Finally spoke to the GM (Lorraine Everret) who was no better...zero assistance but what's interesting is the manager (Sam) had implied it would be a waste of time to speak with the GM. Because of the current state of supply/demand with vehicles, this place is not interested in servicing people or treating people with integrity but when things turn around, they are going to have ruined their own reputation. I would give zero stars if I could and will be reporting them as high as I can go...even with the manufacturer.

PLEASE STAY AWAY! I haven't written a bad review ever. My mom was going to buy a Toyota Rav4 but wanted them to cover tires in the price. Manager said he will talk to owner and get back to us next business day. Instead of saying yes or no on tires, they came back stating we are increasing the price by $1500 and will not cover tires. We would have bought the car the day before if the manager didn't offer to talk to owner and get back to us. Now he is stating my hands are tied and this was some weekend special that you missed out. DON'T TRUST THEM! It seems they don't mind backing away from their word. MOTHERS DAY surprise would have been nice if we got this car, especially after losing our father recently due to Covid. But these people really know how to kick someone while they are down.

Customer service was prompt and kept us informed and gave us an accurate timeline of when the car would be ready. We will definitely continue to have our Tucson serviced there.
