Write a reviewDo NOT buy from here. If you do- take vehicle to independent mechanic before you sign anything! Went here looking for a truck, was sold a complete lie about the vehicle. I believe and my impression from the whole experience is they saw a single white woman looking for a truck and took advantage of my naïveté. Again, this is my experience buying from this place, writing this in hopes you make better choices than I did. Starting with the salesman telling me he’d test driven this “beautiful truck”but upon entering the vehicle it had an awful flavored cigar smell and no brake pedal pad. Then, truck failed MA inspection due to rotted/severely deteriorated front end and steering & suspension: loose ball joints and poor alignment. Having needed to replace front shock absorbers and CV axle assembly. However, had a clean/passed CT intake inspection form. Once I brought the issues to their attention after my mechanic began to fix the problems they sold me, they would not help with reimbursement, saying I should have come to them and they do not honor outside invoices. Spoke with at CT attorney- who said while it is my right to bring vehicle to independent mechanic before purchase, it is not necessary as the dealership should be doing proper inspection and maintenance before offering vehicle for sale. This is consumer protection, but the dealership should be doing its own due diligence on cars they acquire for sale. However, I bought the vehicle “as is-no warranty,” WITH THE UNDERSTANDING that the “vehicle is deemed to be in condition for legal operation on any highway.” I signed saying I would pay for any repairs, however, I signed for a truck that WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN SELLING CONDITION and SAFE. Clearly, that was a lie, or at the very least a SEVERE MISREPRESENTATION, as it could not pass inspection in my state. Eventually had to go through CT DMV to file an official complaint. Other problems have since come up- some you’d naturally find in a used vehicle but others that should have had attention paid to them so they would not be problems soon after sale. I’ve learned much from this absolutely terrible experience- learn from my mistakes. Do not give this business your time and money. They do not respect their customers, plainly lie and misrepresent their vehicles, and do not show any good will or practice any good faith before or after a sale.
