This is properly one of the worst experiences I have had shopping for a car. I am a busy person and like most people because we do not want to waste our time I shop online. I have been looking for a CR-V and doing research is important because money doesnt grow on trees. I contact several dealerships online asking a couple questions the two most important questions I asked was if they had what I was look on site and what the total price was. In my shopping I have learned asking if something is available is not enough you have to ask if it is onsite because a lot of places tell you they have it available when they in reality do not. Well, first I am told that they have it available and right away I am bombarded with emails, text and phone calls when I asked to be communicated with only in email it seems as if customer service is not something that is important to here. My request for price was completely disregarded. I asked for pricing three times and it was ignored. I live in American Canyon and this past weekend had lunch in Napa. I decided to visit Kastner Honda and it was became apparent why they didnt want to send pricing. The pricing online does not match the price they show you when you are there, they have a lot of extras that they claim you have to buy cant be removed and all their cars have them. The lady that helped me didnt seem to know much she kept having to get up and go ask her managers so naturally I asked if I could just speak to a manager since she didnt know the answers and really couldnt make any decisions she tells her manager who is the general manager is going to come to talk to me and that he will make me a deal oh and by the way the general manager is husband. The whole exchange and experience was a complete joke.

Contacted dealership about a vehicle only to find out they added $18,000 upcharge. Also ended up getting a ton of spam email from them. Would not recommend.

***FUTURE CUSTOMERS PLEASE READ ****I wish I wasn’t here writing a review. It would mean this dealership treated me like a customer and a human being, however they did not. I traded my car in with this company on the first week of June. I purchased a brand new Honda civic from them. My vehicle I traded in still is not paid off to this day. They got my pay off wrong on my vehicle and it was over by 500.00. They have late fees from clerical errors and now they will not give me the money back from the high pay off not to mention I have a late payment on my credit from this car not being paid still 45 days later. Toyota financial is trying to repossess a car from me that I don’t own and this dealership has already sold to another dealership. It’s likely that someone is driving this car on the road and the loan is still in my name. I am a very hard working member of the community as well as my family and we have worked for 10 plus years to have perfect payment history with auto loans. Only to have someone carelessly deal with our personal finances after doing business with them. I would be very very careful with this business. I would not recommend this dealership to friends, family or strangers. What they have done to my family and I is just negligent and irresponsible. They just don’t care. Just save yourself the headache and go to another dealership. Nobody wants to answer the phone. Bella the title clerk lied to me about what was happening with my loan. The behavior is so outlandish and disrespectful. I’ve never had a worse experience.

Do NOT waste your time driving out for what seems like a good deal. They will say what they need to get you in the door. Their listings clearly say pre-installed options are optional and I confirmed on the phone before coming in because I didn't want to drive all the way out there for a bait and switch. But once we got down to the office, Tony pulled the most stereotypical tactics. He directly told me that they price aggressively on the website because they make it up on accessories. First price sheet came in with $7k of add-ons on a $31,000 car. They easily took the warranties off but the best offer after a lot of absurd back and forth and "calls to the GM and VP," was still adding $1800 more in add-ons that were supposed to be optional, even if they were pre-installed. On top of all that, the car was absolutely covered with dealer-installed swirl marks (free of charge). Just be prepared that this is the type of shop you're walking into, pay attention to the paint, and remember that you can always walk away if the deal does not work for you.

Compared to the other Honda Dealership in Santa Rosa, Kastner is amazing. Super professional. Tech came out and took a quick drive with me to talk about how the car is and listen to the noise. I got a courtesy vehicle over the weekend. Bill was good with updates and communication. I 100% recommend this Honda service department over the others in the area. Thanks Kastner!

If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience at Kastner Honda was nothing short of a manipulative circus. From the moment I inquired about purchasing a vehicle, I was upfront about my situation—I have terrible credit, no job, and no co-signer. Despite this, multiple salespeople assured me they could work with me, even after taking all my personal information, including my Social Security number and date of birth. I arrived at the dealership around 11 a.m., only to be passed from one person to another, each telling me something different. After running my credit, they initially told me I needed a co-signer—something I had already disclosed from the start. Frustrated, I questioned why they wasted my time when they had all my information beforehand. But instead of letting me leave, they insisted they could “make something work” and had me stay. A financing representative then told me I didn’t need a co-signer, that they had a bank willing to approve me with no proof of income. Excited, I started signing paperwork for the car I wanted—a Dodge Charger. They even sent the car off to be detailed, telling me it was officially mine. I was on the verge of celebrating when, suddenly, another finance employee told me I did need a co-signer after all. At this point, I had wasted my entire day—five hours of back-and-forth lies and empty promises. When I confronted the finance representative who initially told me I didn’t need a co-signer, he outright denied ever saying it. He looked me in the face and lied. The entire experience felt like a bait-and-switch, designed to keep me there for hours, dangling false hope in front of me. The only honest and professional person I encountered was Levi, who actually treated me with respect. If I had worked solely with him, I might have considered asking my dad to co-sign. But after being manipulated, deceived, and completely disregarded by the rest of the staff, I refused to give them my business. This dealership is dishonest, unprofessional, and willing to waste your entire day just to string you along. Do yourself a favor—take your business elsewhere.

Walked away from a purchase with the check and title to my trade in on the table. This was an etremley disappointing experience with Kastner Honda. The salesperson that I had was unfortunately pretty good with misleading and omissions in critical information. I spent a lot of time and driving to this location and thought that everything was done, only to find out that due to omissions by the sales representative I was going to have to surrender substantial value in the Ridgeline I was purchasing (This was a dealer owned Ridgeline with low mileage), and this was after navigating through several misleading representations on other issues he had already made. I have made many purchases through Honda Dealerships, some can be reviewed on this site. They have always been positive experiences with excellent relationships after the sale. This experience was probably was the most troubling and frustrating of my car buying endeavors. I can not recommend Kastner Honda.

I had a disappointing experience with Honda on Imola Avenue in Napa. After purchasing a car and driving it for two weeks, I was called into the office. I was told to go to sign some DMV-related documents. However, it turned out they wanted me to sign a different contract with higher payments, which I chose not to agree to. Unfortunately, they refused to return my car. This experience left me disappointed and questioning the integrity of the dealership's practices. I hope they can work on improving transparency and customer satisfaction in the future. I will never ever buy any Honda products in the future.

We traded in our Honda Pilot for a new model today. Our stellar salesperson Brenndan made the process simple but thorough. Buy at Kastner's Napa!` You will not be disappointed with their sales and service staff.
