Brought my 2018 Sierra (with 60k miles on it) in for the
Brought my 2018 Sierra (with 60k miles on it) in for the dreaded 8 speed shutter. Asked for a transmission flush to see if that would get me a few more years before major work. Technician “diagnosed” that I needed a new transmission and it would cost $8,000 and refused to try the flush that I was willing to pay for. So, I took it to a local shop that would perform the trans flush and filter change and guess what? NO MORE SHUDDER. Do I think this fixed the issue? No. But it will do what I wanted in the first place AND it didn’t cost me $8,000 for a transmission that still has problems from the factory. So no, I do not recommend the Steele GMC Service Department for any major, non-warranty work.

Josh was still at lunch when I arrived so this nice lady
Josh was still at lunch when I arrived so this nice lady got Chad to check me in. After an hour of waiting I asked Chad if they were far behind. He said “Ask Josh, I just checked you in.” When I approached Josh he was a deer in headlights - he didn’t even know I was there. He got to work and my oil was changed on 20 minutes. So - an hour of my time was wasted because Chad was too busy looking at his phone (that’s what he was doing when I asked him my status) to let Josh know that he was passing me back to him. Again, Josh did me right once he knew I was there, but why did I have to wait an hour? Communicate between service advisors is lacking.

I love this dealership.
I love this dealership. I buy all my cars from there. The service is absolutely wonderful. If I get there early, they always get me right in, and they keep me informed as they go along what they’re doing and if there’s anything they find and I’m out there in a very timely manner

Purchased 2021 Chevrolet truck hadn’t even had it 31 days
Purchased 2021 Chevrolet truck hadn’t even had it 31 days and it’s been in the shop 4 times. GM mechanics can’t fix the issue yet we’re paying $800 on a xxx vehicle that they sold us. Getting an attorney involved at this time. Save yourself the trouble from this dealership. They can’t make it right!!!

Took the 21 Acadia in for transmission shifting issues.
Took the 21 Acadia in for transmission shifting issues. Turns out the transmission needed a complete rebuild. Kyra my service rep got the car diagnosed faster that I had expected but I was sure part would take quite a while. Kyra was able to get the parts and the work completed in one week. I was amazed. Not only that but all the work fell under the warranty! Great work Kyra!
