I purchased a used 2025 Genesis GV80 from this dealership on 8/12/26 and have had several unresolved issues since taking delivery. First, I discovered several deep scratches/gouges on the driver's-side roof rail and on the paint above the driver's-side door jamb. The damage made my wife gasp. This damage did not appear in the vehicle's listing photos, which I reviewed both before and after the sale, and was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase. When I raised this the next day with the F&I manager, Tyler Higgins, I was summarily told it was sold "as is." I also sent a formal letter to Eric Nielsen, the owner, and the COO, and have not received a response. Second, I was told in the finance office by Mr. Higgins, while signing paperwork, that the vehicle came with only one key. But to make up for this, he told me I could buy a $600 product, and call in a couple weeks to get a new one. I was disinclined for any additional add-ons and declined until the price was lowered to $350. I later determined that this product is an insurance replacement contract for a lost, stolen, or damaged key — it does not provide a second key, which is what I was told I'd be able to get. In addition, while driving yesterday, the driver's windshield wiper fell off and the metal arm scratched against the window leaving scratches. The Bosch blade was not installed correctly, and I then discovered that the passenger wiper was a different, budget-level blade. I just bought two Bosch Envision blades for $82+ from a local autoparts store. I came from CT to buy this car after the salesman put his boss Tyler on the phone to talk me into making the 3-hour trip to purchase. It had to pass their inspection, I was assured. And I would get a full tank of gas — I did not, and barely made the trip back. I did not arrive at the dealership until after 6pm, when the building was in shadow. After completing the finance paperwork (for their benefit - I could have paid cash) and undertook driving home, I turned around because I felt a shake in the wheel. The salesman and I took it out for a drive, but I was assured it was the terrible road in front of their dealership. As it was late, I drove home. I now feel a pronounced shake in the front end and am concerned about the condition of the car in general. I will be taking it in for a full inspection here in CT. I'd encourage anyone considering a purchase here to carefully inspect the vehicle in person and get any verbal representations about keys, condition, or add-on products in writing before signing. I would not trust what they tell you unless it is in writing — and be sure to READ the documents they swipe in front of you on the computer screen at the desk, since none of it is in paper form.

I had a very disappointing experience with this dealership’s service department. I brought my 2024 Kia Niro in for a routine oil change at 20,000 miles. The waiting room was nearly empty (at most one other customer), yet after two hours I was told I needed all new tires. This seemed unusual given the relatively low mileage, but after already waiting so long, I agreed—primarily because I did not want to return another day. The total visit ended up taking four hours. When I went to pay the approximately $1,000 bill, I was informed for the first time that there is a 3% surcharge for paying by credit card. This was never disclosed when I made the appointment or when the work was approved. Given the excessive wait time, I asked if they could waive the fee as a courtesy—they declined. After getting home, I questioned whether tire replacement at 20,000 miles was appropriate. I called the dealership within an hour requesting to see my tires or at least photos to verify the condition. I was told the service manager would follow up. The next morning, the service manager said he would send photos of the tires and information supporting the claim that hybrids may require early tire replacement. Neither was ever provided. I was later told the tires had already been discarded. This lack of documentation and follow-through is concerning, especially for a costly and unexpected recommendation. I would strongly advise anyone using this service department to request clear documentation (photos, measurements, tread depth) before approving major work.

I guess the dealership is okay, but my main criticism is with the vehicle I leased. I got a 2025 Kia Sportage Hybrid SX Prestige. With under 1,000 miles a key engine component failed and it took five weeks to replace. In addition, the mileage claim is way off. I'm getting roughly 20 to 22 mpg, despite a light foot, no cargo, wheels inflated properly etc. The vehicle is supposed to get roughly 40 mpg both city/hwy and I'm at half that. I've been told it's cold weather related but that sure wasn't mentioned when I got the vehicle. This is my first (and last) Kia. I should have stayed with the top tier manufacturers like Subaru, Toyota, Honda etc. Buyer beware, stay away from Kia.

Just financed a Kia Seltos with Alicia Stabp . I had a great experience with her. She was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and made the car buying experience very nice. She will be the salesperson I will refer my family to for their next vehicle.

Came in to check out a Sorrento, and to take a test drive. If you go there ask for Derek Wynne. Very polite and accommodating. Knew everything about every car there. Very professional.

There is something suspicious about Lou Pierro, Finance Manager. The numbers weren't sounding correct since I put 2k cash and had a trade in worth 8k I kept asking and he kept proving the numbers. I have since received contract from financial institute and the numbers don't match. Kia of Sussex namely Lou Pierro . However, not all was reported to my auto loan. They say I owe 10k extra which is false. I come to find out that Ally finances all Kias but they are unwilling to assist me. The dealership is still closed apparently, I do not have any paper work on my vehicle and no one can help! I will be writing to Cooperate and if necessary getting a lawyer involved

I have since received contract from financial institute and the numbers don't match. Kia of Sussex namely Lou Pierro took at least $4500 from me. This was part of my $8000 cash deposit. However, not all was reported to my auto loan. I come to find out that Ally finances all Kias but they are unwilling to assist me. Sounds like they are in cahoots. I will be alerting all to Ally's compromised business ethics as well as Lou Pierro's.
