Third purchase with them. Another great experience!

I went to look at the Nissan Rogue on 10/16/17 and met a great salesperson named Chino. After speaking with him, he quickly headed out to the parking lot and pulled up three different models for my wife and I to view. Chino was very patient, and was very concerned with us getting to know, but more importantly, getting to like the car. I told him I needed to do some thinking since the model that I fell in love with was more than I originally set out to spend. He was very understanding and did not try to push the sale that night. After I went home and did some research, I began texting back and forth with Chino the next day, and I spoke with the internet sales manager Maria Gutierez, and began texting with her as well. After we finalized everything, I sent her all of my info, so that when I got to the dealership after work, the process would go smoothly. When I arrived, the vehicle was already prepped and ready to go. I ended up purchasing a Nissan Rogue SV Midnight Edition. I love the car, and as usual, I love the experience of buying a vehicle from Sutherlin Nissan. The staff was professional and made sure that I was well educated on the vehicle features. I have purchased a Murano, a Cube, and a Rogue from Sutherlin Nissan, and each time, the process has gone smoothly. They didn't waste any of my time when it came to pricing. The entire process was quick and they did everything in their power to get me in and out. If you're in the market for a Nissan, I would highly recommend going to Sutherlin Nissan. Aside from the Nissan brand, which I always recommend, their staff mirrors the quality of the brand.

Excellent New CAr Buying Experience

Purchased a new 2017 Nissan Rogue this past Friday, and the overall experience was outstanding, starting with Chino, then Maria Gutierrez, and finally with the GM Andrey. We will definitely be back again, both to service our vehicles, and also for a new upgrade. If you are in the market for a new or used vehicle this dealership is highly recommended.

Outstanding experience at this dealership - Maria Gutierrez

I don't often take the time to write a shining review, but feel compelled to today after our experience with an outstanding sales professional over the weekend. Maria Elena Gutierrez assisted us at Southerlin Nissan, Mall of Georgia last Sunday. The dealership was busy and we were searching for a very low priced, pre-owned car for our daughter, who would be a new driver. We were very upfront with our price point as well as features that were non negotiable. We realized that we were issuing a very tall order. Maria Elena listened to each of our requirements and showed us several cars that fit the parameters that we had given her. We didn't feel as though what was immediately available was the right fit for us, so we sat with Maria Elena and she guided us through a process she would undergo to search other inventory and see if she could further assist us, explaining that it was the end of the month and many cars had been sold over the weekend, and trades had arrived that had not undergone inspection. Great! She promised to reach out in the next couple of days to see if she could meet our needs. Upon leaving the dealership, my husband and I both agreed that Maria Elena was by far the most professional, helpful and proactive sales associate we had ever worked with in our VAST car buying experience. What most impressed us was that on an extremely busy Sunday she took a great deal of time to work with us with what she knew would be a very low priced sale. As promised, the next day we received a call describing several other car options that would be available this week. In the meantime, we had indeed located a car that had peaked our interest and we let her know that we were having the car inspected. Maria Elena suggested several items that we would want to make sure to get checked out - we were extremely thankful for her advise. She even called us the following day (yesterday) to determine if the car checked out on inspection, it did, and we purchased it. I want to emphasize that Maria's follow-up was in no way intrusive. We felt a personal level of interest from her that she wanted our daughter to be put in the safest vehicle at a price we could afford. I must say that the very next time we are in the market for a new or used car - her card will be the one I reach for to contact. Maria Elena has represented your dealership in an above and beyond capacity and we will remember that.

Bate and switch (fraud )

My wife and I drove 182 miles, one way, to Sutherlin Nissan Mall of Georgia on 9/16/17 to see a car that was advertised online at a reasonable price. We were greeted by Weiss Naderi, our salesman. He wasn't the one I spoke to on the phone about the car but that was alright. I ask him to let us drive the car and of course, he said he would go get it. He came back with it and we took it for a drive and REALLY liked it. I agreed to try to work a deal. We went inside and began the process. After signing and completing the deal, we walked to our new car with the salesman, he gave us the key We drove off the lot and, of course, we were in heavy traffic like you'll find everywhere in Georgia. I heard a whining noise and thought it was outside noise from someone in the traffic. Once we went far enough to get into less traffic I still heard the noise and realized it was coming from our car's transmission. We had been at the dealership for 3-4 hours already and had 182 miles to go to get home so I continued to drive realizing every mile I drove that I had been screwed. This was a "BATE AND SWITCH" situation. If I had been allowed to drive this particular car upon arrival, I would not have bought it. They knew that and gave me a different car of the same color to test drive.I put a stop payment on my down payment check and called Nissan corporate office in Franklin,Tenn.

ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE

I was looking for a specific vehicle and this delearship was 1 of 2 delearships within driving distance from my residence in Louisiana. I've bought vehicles out of state before and have never had an issue doing the negotiations over the phone. When the other delearship changed their advertised price on me, i called sutherlin to confirm the price. Once that was complete I let them know I would be flying to ATL to pick up the vehicle. I asked over 5 times and left multiple messages for the finance department to call me to discuss financing. I wanted to get this done before I arrived so that I could pick up the vehicle and go. No one ever returned my calls or emails. Upon arriving at the dealership the Manager informed me that the car was not actually the advertised price because I NEEDED to pay for standard items like "tint" and paint protection and other items that should be included in the advertised price. I informed him that I would not be paying for those items and he said the tint comes on the vehicle so I have to pay for it or he would remove it. The tint cost $299. It would cost him more in labor to remove it (even though their advertisement said "tinted windows" therefore it should have been included in the advertised price). I told him he was being ridiculous but go ahead and remove it. After informing him that one of his sales associates confirmed the price with me and that there wouldn't be any other hidden costs, like the other dealership tried to pull on me, he eventually honored the price I was given. What a scum. And he wasted nearly an hour of my time. Then I waited over an hour for the finance guy who ended up being a joke. Had I known about the special rates and rebates and how the whole thing worked, when I left 5 voicemails and sent multiple emails the day before, I probably would not have gone all the way to ATL to pick up that vehicle. But they didn't care. It was obvious at that point that customer service was NOT what they cared about. One of the other things I asked specifically about before my flight was what kind of payments they took for a downpayment. It wasnt until i was there for 3 hours that he informed me i would need a certified or cashiers check. Gee...wouldnt it have been nice to know this the day before when I left 5 messages and sent multiple emails. Again, complete disregard for anyone else. They did not care about making any part of this experience good for me. Just make the sale and move on. Good thing I was able to find a bank nearby that was able to get me a cashiers check. A few days after I arrived home I tried to register my vehicle. Turns out, i didnt have all the paperwork and OF COURSE they didnt explain to me how this process works. It took 2 days of leaving messages for someone to call me back and explain it to me. Turns out they had to hold my cashier's check for 10 days before processing my paperwork. Why? What is the point of a cashiers check? its the same as cash. Then she explained to me that after that they would send me the remainder of the paperwork. Whats wrong with these people ? If I didnt return phone calls or emails at my job I wouldnt have a job. Sad. Sad that we live in a world where customer service doesnt matter because they hold the upper hand. Sad. Customer service should always matter. The finance guy answered his phone at one point and made a comment to the guy on the other end " oh i'm having the type of day you had yesterday". It was clear he was talking about me and how it had been a difficultprocess. All of which could have been avoided had someone RETURNED ONE OF MY 5 VOICEMAILS OR EMAILS. Horrible experience. Buying a car should be enjoyable. Thank god I'll never have to deal with any of these people again. All scum.

Damaging new cars

I bought a 2016 Nissan rogue back in november. Friday, I took my car in for them to fix the front suspension (a newsletter was sent out for all Nissan rogues and the front suspension.) I picked up my car on Saturday and went to work. I got off of work, and barely made it home! My wheel wouldn't turn. My brakes weren't working! I was scared that I would be stranded on the road or worse, get in a wreck. I barely pulled my car into the driveway! Today, Sunday, I called Nissan telling them what had happened and demanded a rental car until my car could be fixed. Not only did charlie, the manager, not help me with my situation at all, but he was extremely rude to me and my mother as well. Don't ever go to nissan!!!!! Not the one at mall of Georgia.

Customer NO SERVICE

Customer NO SERVICE - took almost 2 weeks to finish service on my car and then they wouldn't endorse my insurance claim check after I had already paid for the service in full. Jennifer, the owner's assistant said that she was the person in charge and all she would do is QUOTE POLICY even after she stated that Sutherlin Nissan made an error to their policy when I made my payment in full instead of just charging me for my deductible amount. Their ERROR, and they couldn't even break from THEIR POLICY. I'm waiting another week for the insurance company to reissue the check just in my name. This should have been a simple fix. But since I had to constantly call back to move forward with every step in the car repair process, I guess this is what I should have expected. Save yourself the hassle - drive a few more miles for ANOTHER NISSAN DEALER! This one is HORRIBLE!

Jeff is awesome!

The Short Version: Internet Jeff (Loftis) is awesome, customer service focused, and a pleasant change from the other car salesmen I've met. The long version: My husband and I were in the market for a new car for him and settled on the 2009 Kia Sportage for a variety of reasons. Jeff Loftis (Internet Jeff, he told me to call him) called immediately after I put in an inquiry on the website and was very understanding when I asked to communicate via text, we arranged the entire process over text and emails! There was a hiccup with financing and I moved on, but on our behalf Jeff kept working to get the numbers right so we could get the car my husband wanted. He texted today to let us know and were there less than 30 minutes signing papers since we did it all online. Jeff is very friendly and customer service driven: I would recommend him to anyone looking for a car in the Atlanta area!
