I truly can’t Rave enough about my experience with the Team at McKays in Waite Park. This will be my second Purchase from them I never plan to go anywhere else. Both times I had the pleasure to work with Bill Mettenburg, he is an outstanding sales Man and an all Around Good Man. Thank you Mckays for your Kindness and I’m loving my Chevy Equinox.

BAD SALES DEPARTMENT

Sales Department has no regard for Customer Service ... if they even know what it means. Take forever to get back to you, won't fully answer your questions and argue if you want to pay cash. Took my business elsewhere and won't be back.

Poor customer service

My wife brought her Jeep Cherokee in here for an oil change. The service tech removed the front wheel for some reason and forgot to tighten up the lug nuts when the wheel was put back on. We live 50 miles from McKay's but my wife works in Waite Park, she drove home and noticed it started to shake badly when she was close to home. I looked the Jeep over to see what the problem was and 3 of the 5 lug nuts were missing. I contacted the service manager and he said to bring it back and they will fix it. They had the Jeep for over 2 weeks and couldn't find a wheel to match the aftermarket black aluminum wheels that she has. They had a different set of wheels and said they would give her 1 wheel and she could pay $675 for the other 3 wheels. Why should we have to pay anything if they messed up in the first place? She ended up getting a check for $185 for the wheel they wrecked and now we have to find a different set of wheels. I would not recommend taking a vehicle to them for service work because they don't stand behind the work they do and won't own up to the mistakes they make. These wheels have been on the Jeep for over 100,000 miles and they tried to blame it on the shop that we originally bought the wheels from. McKay's claims there is a centering ring missing. When asked why they didn't notice this before because they have rotated the tires numerous times, they said their technicians aren't trained to look for that. Their technicians aren't properly trained to do the jobs they are doing? That isn't very assuring.

James was the best salesman!!!

This was my first time ever buying a new car and I came in nervous and yet very very excited! James was so wonderful to work with, and helped me process my decision and also helped me think of many things I never would have without his experience and knowledge! James was so professional in every aspect and I would highly recommend using James for all your car needs!
