Scam tactics. I went there looking at 2 cars which happened to not be there. There’s a reason for that… they will sell a car for over market value then lower the price to bait people to come look at a car that has been sold already. I bought a 2022 Dodge Durango from them 3 weeks ago, since then they lowered the price rather than removing it from their website. Also the car is already in a shop to get repaired because the car broke down on the side of the road after approximately 200 miles of driving. Worst dealership I’ve ever had the experience of working with.

On Thursday, Apr 2, 26, I contacted the dealership regarding a 2016 Lexus LS 460 L listed at $29,444. I communicated directly with a representative named “Jessica/Clarence,” who confirmed in writing that the vehicle’s current price was $29,444. I specifically asked about price discrepancies between listings, and I was reassured that $29,444 was the correct and current price. I also clearly stated that I would be traveling over 4 hours from North Carolina to view and test drive the vehicle. At no point was I informed of any conditions tied to the advertised price, such as residency requirements, financing requirements, military/veteran status, or other qualifications. Based on these representations, I made the 4+ hour trip to the dealership. Upon arrival, I was informed by a different salesperson that the actual price of the vehicle was approximately $38,000—over $8,000 higher than what had been quoted and confirmed prior to my visit. When I questioned this discrepancy, I was told that the advertised price only applied under certain conditions (Virginia residency, veteran status, or other criteria), none of which were disclosed to me beforehand. This information was only revealed after I had already made the significant trip to the dealership. Additionally, after refusing the inflated price, I was encouraged to consider other vehicles, which further suggests a bait-and-switch sales tactic. I believe this constitutes a deceptive and misleading business practice, as I was induced to travel a significant distance based on a price that the dealership had no intention of honoring

These people are scammers and liars, this dealership is a huge red flag overall. They pulled a bait and switch on me after setting up an appointment for a specific vehicle that suddenly is not available once you’re on their lot. They will just say whatever they need to get you in the door. I would stay away from these people, they are shady and will lie to your face. Do not give them a penny or minute of your time. Absolutely deplorable how they operate, do not do business with these people.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE HIGH FEES Find the car on Cargurus says it’s 19500. Call on Friday, confirm the car is 19,500. When I arrived, they told me the car was 25500. They add a certain number of discounts, and you may get to the 19500 as your discounted price. After you get your discounted price, then they add a $1200 recon fee, and other fees on top of it plus a dealership fee of $1700. This fee does not cover doing tags or title processing either, that’s an additional $300. Other dealerships in the area are $800. They give me a purchase order that’s almost $30,000. I stayed at this dealership for over 8 hours. When I finally decided to do the deal after I talked them down some because it was so late and I had no more time to look at something else. I got the car at 21999 before 1750 processing fee. They didn’t even do me the courtesy of a full tank of gas. It was literally on E. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this dealership to anyone. They were nice enough people, but their business practice of misleading customers on pricing is deplorable. As an added bonus they xxxxing knew I was coming for 5 days, and I had to wait 2 hours and 47 minutes for them to get the car out of the snow. The dealership right next to them had all their cars out ready to be driven.

Sedat, Bola and Wali at Carget were very professional and knowledgeable of the car we were looking to purchase. They made it a smooth and easy process. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Review: CarGet Motors – “Misleading and Disrespectful Experience” I visited CarGet Motors on December 11, 2025, after calling ahead to confirm the availability of a specific vehicle. I spoke with a representative over the phone, verified that the car I was interested in was still on the lot, and scheduled an appointment. I then drove several hours to get there, expecting to see the car I had discussed. However, when I arrived, I was told that the car was not available because it was “at the mechanic shop due to a problem.” This was never mentioned during the call I had just two hours prior, which was frustrating and incredibly disappointing. When I expressed my concern about the situation, I was met with what felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic. Instead of addressing the issue directly, the staff immediately tried to sell me a different, older vehicle in my price range, and then attempted to show me another car that was well beyond my budget. I told them directly that it seemed like they said whatever they needed to say just to get me on the lot, even though the car I was coming to see wasn't available. Based on how things unfolded, it felt like a setup to push other inventory, not to serve my needs as a customer. This experience wasted my time, gas, and energy. I left feeling misled and disrespected. While this is just my personal experience, I hope others will ask very specific questions before making a long trip to this dealership — and get everything in writing if you plan to visit.

I would described this place as a scam to get you to spend more money on a car you don’t want. My first interaction with them involved inquiring about a car they had listed online. I was told “someone just put a deposit on it, but we have these others in stock” you’ll see other reviews state the same thing. The car listed is always a better deal than the ones they have remaining in stock. The take home, they do this to get your attention and always don’t have the car at the best deal available due to someone always having a deposit on it. I heard this exact same statement when I was there in the office one of the reps told a costumer this phrase. Although disappointed the first car wasn’t available, I was still willing to go look at the other option even though slightly more expensive. I made an appointment. When I get there, they do not have the car ready. It is behind several other cars in a cramped space. I look at it, and I ask to test drive. No problem I’m told. Again, I made an appointment for this car days before. I sit for awhile in the office, and then I’m told “one of the cars in front of the car you’d like is expected to have work done, but the mechanic has the keys, so we can’t move it. Would you like to reschedule for another time or look at other vehicles”. I very promptly left. This was just another stage in getting you trapped into another vehicle at a higher price. I’d recommend you go to a more legitimate dealer as this one is clearly mastering in scamming customers.

My name is Tonya and I recently purchased a 2020 GLC from CarGet Motors. I had an amazing experience from start to finish. The team was professional, patient, and really made me feel confident in my decision. They answered all my questions and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with the process. The vehicle was exactly as described, super clean, and drives like a dream! I highly recommend CarGet Motors to anyone looking for a reliable dealership with great customer service. Thank you again for everything!
