Service guy was excellent but we paid 1grand for an O2

Service guy was excellent but we paid 1grand for an O2 sensor to be installed and then one mile down the road the check engine light came on they diagnosed it again and said it's the catalytic converter now. We would have never paid for the O2 sensor if we knew we were going to have to do a catalytic converter. It's not even worth the price of the car. When I spoke to them they stuck to their guns that they diagnosed it and fixed it and then the engine light came on not their fault. And we originally bought the car from a Subaru dealer. Not this Subaru dealer but they are all the same

Total redemption here!.. Working with Summit Subaru's Director of Service and the Service Advisor Jack, they really went above and beyond to fix this issue. This isn't a resolution that was applied because of my complaints but because of the open minded staff that listened to me and made rational decisions to resolve the conflict. In this case I asked for the downstream O2 to be swapped out to narrow the diagnosis which they did.. they asked the mechanics to dig deeper and deeper and I came away a satisfied customer. My faith is renewed and im impressed with their ability to be open minded when many dealers will not.. Thank you Summit Subaru!!!!

I was very impressed with the staff that we came in contact with. The words are simply not enough. VERY friendly & courteous members of this organized staff. These people really knew their business. U could tell that these group of men were team players. I felt very relaxed and at ease at this dealership in El Cajon. Not only was I in a great comfort zone but the dealership was so clean. I would highly recommend Summit Subaru to anyone that relishes a great car shopping experience, to give them a try before U go else where first. .Janet Hazelbaker!

Adan was awesome.

Adan was awesome. He helped with my service and took great care of me! I have been going to him for several services now and will continue to go. The mechanics also did a great job. Overall, I am happy with today’s service.

Took my 2011 Forester to a local shop.

Took my 2011 Forester to a local shop. They had no idea what was wrong. So i took it to the guys who know Subaru. Summit fixed my car and now im back on the road.

Service Department is dishonest.

Service Department is dishonest. My son's car was brought in for a transmission service - it was dropped off this morning at 7:45am and sat in a parking space until after 8:45am. At 8:59am he received a text that his car was done. I was charged $275 for labor and the service writer tried to tell me that the car was driven back at the time of drop off (it was not, I was on the phone with my son and he was standing in the parking lot looking at it) and that it was in the back being worked on until 9:50am. The level of service has gone down since it was purchased by Summit, work done, but the issues still occuring and now blatant lies to justify over charging for labor. Shane on you Summit.

I’m very happy to have bought my Subaru Outback limited

I’m very happy to have bought my Subaru Outback limited at Summit Subaru El Cajon one of the best dealerdhip in town. All the employees there seems genuinely happy from my salesman Josue to the finance advisor Jason Coonors and to the delivery specialist were very courteous, friendly, and work professionally and also to the service department who were eager to help and installed a car seat cover gifted by the manager sir Ronnie at no cost. I am 87 years old and I’ve bought many cars for myself, my wife & my children and dealt with various dealership over the years and truthfully Summit Subaru El Canon is by far the best !!! I love my subaru !!!
