I’ve bought and rebuilt salvage vehicles for 40+ years, and Mint Motors is hands‑down the worst experience I’ve ever had. Their repair work is sloppy, incomplete, and in several cases actually caused more damage. My 2020 Grand Cherokee had bad struts from day one. Mint denied it, “calibrated” the suspension, and sent me away. Two shops — including a Jeep dealer — confirmed the struts were shot before Mint finally agreed to replace them. A steering issue from the original front‑end hit was ignored until I brought the car back, then Sam tried to fix it for $1,000 cash. After their repairs, the suspension system became a disaster: failed sensor ($1,200), three crushed wiring harnesses ($1,000 each), a burned‑out compressor caused by those harnesses ($5,000), and now another sensor ($1,000). Every tech said the damage was obvious and should’ve been fixed during the rebuild. Other issues Mint ignored: cracked windshield, cracked washer tank, missing front effects, damaged hitch plate, a sensor that fell out, and bumper mounts literally glued together. Mint Motors charges full price for sub‑par repairs and pushes overpriced warranties to cover their shortcuts. Yes, the cars are “state inspected,” but that inspection doesn’t check repair quality — and Mint’s repair quality is terrible. After decades of buying salvage vehicles, I can say this without hesitation: I wouldn’t buy a kid’s trike from these guys.

This place was great. Sam was awesome to work with. Got a fair price for a nice car. Nobody was ever pushy or anything like that, just knowledgeable and smooth service.
