Great experience!!!
The whole experience of purchasing a vehicle at Performance Dodge was great! The price negotiation was easier than other dealers and worked out on the phone before I made the hour drive. Their people made the experience fast efficient and pleasant from start to finish. Eric Spinelli was our sales person accompanied by Mike his sales manager who together made the process very smooth. The only unfortunate thing that happen was my own doing. I forgot my phone at the dealership and even that was remedy by Albert Novelli who stuck around for an hour after closing so I could retrieve it before leaving on vacation. This is a dedicated team of people who care about their customers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New 2009 Grand Caravan Purchase
I thought the sale went smoothly and we got a fair price. I thought the salesman and business manager were helpful and knowledgeable. I appreciated being able test multiple vans and appreciated the dealership putting extra gas in the gas tank after I purchased the vehicle. I also aprreciated the salesman contacting me when I left my owners manual back at the dealership. I thought the car prep was good also. I will recommend this dealership to others.

Poor performance from service department
On June 24th my vehicle's check engine light came on related to vapor leak and I brought to Performance Dodge to be repaired. They determined that the EISM and Purge Valve needed to be replaced at a cost of $269.25. Work was completed and car returned with engine light off. On July 2nd check engine light comes back on with the same problem. This time Performance Dodge determined that the fuel tank, fuel pump and level sensor all needed to be replaced at a cost of $1821.12. Repairs took 10 days to be completed. I was called on July 11th that work was done. Hard to believe that all 3 items were bad at the same time and hard to believe it took 10 days for work to be done. I picked the car up on the morning of July 12th and my wife drove the car home. That afternoon I used the vehicle to pickup my daughter from work and I noticed that the gas cap warning was on. I checked to make sure cap was on correctly and it was. I proceeded to get my daughter and take here home. From there I went back to Performance Dodge, I was upset that the repairs were still not done correctly and about the amount off time it was taking to resolve the repairs. The Service Manager, Dave, called a mechanic who took who took the car into the shop and about 20 minutes later he drove the car back and left the engine running which I thought was strange but none the less I was happy that the gas cap indicator was off and I could see my odometer reading and I went home. The next morning I was going to meet friend for breakfast started the car and the gas cap indicator is back on. I wondered how the mechanic got the odometer to show numbers so I pushed the odometer button in and the numbers showed up. I believe that the mechanic the day before left the engine running so that the number would show up. I can't prove it but something didn't seem right. I went back to Performance Dodge and was told by Dave to bring it back on Monday July 15th. On Sunday July 14th I went to get gas for the car, It took approximately 30 minutes to fill the tank to where no gas could go in. The gas gauge read a little over 3/4 fill. On July 15th I brought the car back in and explained to Dave all the issues that occurred and that I was upset on what I feel the mechanic had done on Friday on tricking me to think the problem was fixed, The car was brought back in the shop and about 1 & 1/2 hours later returned. Dave explained that the problem I was having was their fault related to some valve that needed to be pushed in. At this point I don't know who to believe, was original diagnosis done correctly. Like I indicated earlier hard to believe all of the parts replaced could have gone bad at the same time. I am 67 years old and I never heard of a tank that need to be replaced when no fuel was leaking. It makes me wonder if the person trying to determine what is wrong with the car is simply guessing at what needs to be done. Eventually if you replace enough parts the problem will be fixed but at what cost to the customer. I original worked with Jorge Caputo and finally with Dave Springle to have issued resolved.
