I drove back to Land o Lakes, first praising God that there was no major issues with my vehicle and with the biggest smile on my face for not hearing that awful rattling sound. I explained in-depth to Mason Vazzano what I was hearing not knowing what it could be and the noise was infrequent and coming from the back of the vehicle. Mason got on knees and touch my spare tire area and saw it was loose. But he assured me that my car would be inspected all over to isolated the sound. Boy did he not lie, the technician Mr. Steve went above and beyond and sent me 3 videos. FYI, I like the transparency of the videos so I can see first hand what the technicians are seeing. I give the new ownership 3 thumbs UP on this streamlined process. He gave me praises for how well I kept the maintenance up on my vehicle. It meant a lot to me that he acknowledged that and didn’t go off trying to find some major issues wrong. The spare tire wasn’t seated properly in place and he added more air to the tire. Secondly, the area where the jack was stored was not properly in place, he fixed that. And lastly, he noticed the hatch hook was very wiggly and he fixed that with adding extra screws to my license plate. He then drove it to ensure there were no more no noises. I purchased my car from Honda New Port Richey almost 6 years ago and they have performed all services on my car. I have been blessed to have great service managers and technicians who value and are thorough with their work. I can’t say enough but thank you Honda New Port Richey for providing great service!

If you are considering Honda of Port Richey, please save
If you are considering Honda of Port Richey, please save yourself the stress and go to another dealership. This was by far the worst dealership experience I’ve ever had. Everything started well with the sales rep, Antonio, who was the ONLY good part of the experience. He was professional, transparent, and gave me the correct pricing upfront. He deserves recognition, but unfortunately, the rest of the process was a disaster. The real problem began in the finance office. I don’t remember the employee’s exact name (a short Filipino gentleman, possibly Ryan), but if you end up with him, ask for someone else immediately. He is a professional scammer who tries to sneak in as many add-ons and insurances as possible, even after you clearly decline them. I told him MANY times that I did NOT want any additional insurance because I already have my own coverage. Instead of respecting that, he kept lowering the price of the insurance to pressure me into buying it. Every time I said “no,” he acted irritated and pretended he was checking “what he could do,” only to come back with another “discount.” He also pushed GAP insurance aggressively. I know exactly what GAP insurance is, I didn’t want it, and it is MY right to decline it. He kept insisting that I “had to pick something,” which is false. He tried to make it sound mandatory when it isn’t, and that is deceptive behavior. Despite refusing both products repeatedly, he added an insurance plan anyway without my authorization. That alone is unethical and unacceptable. On top of that, he presented a financing amount higher than what the sales rep had given me. When I questioned the difference, he blamed it on the insurance that I had already declined several times. When I confronted him, he turned disrespectful and condescending, treating me like I was stupid, drawing lines on paper “to explain” basic math like I was a child. At that point, I refused to sign anything and walked out. Outside, the manager Joseph followed me and asked what happened. I explained everything, and he actually acknowledged that this type of upselling behavior is “common” among their staff, which is shocking and concerning. Joseph helped fix the paperwork, honored the original price, and offered free window tinting for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, even that was mishandled: The tint appointment was rescheduled without warning. I dropped off the car at 9:45 AM and was told it would be ready at 3 PM. When I picked it up, the car was untouched, no tint, no wash (they promised a complimentary wash), nothing. Their excuse was that my car “already had tint,” which they should’ve known before having me leave it all day. Another full day wasted. Before dropping off the car, they pushed us through multiple messages to complete their survey before the service was done. We completed it only because Antonio deserved a good review. After that, the dealership completely stopped communicating. They only care about money and about getting their perfect survey scores, not the customer experience. In summary: unethical sales tactics, pressure to buy unwanted insurance, attempts to add products without consent, disrespectful behavior, and zero follow-through. I will never return to Honda of Port Richey, and I strongly recommend you go to another dealership if you want honesty, transparency, and professionalism.

Do not bring your vehicle here ... even if it's under warranty! We used to, but the Service Dept has become a giant scam and we have zero trust in them. We are a Honda family (purchased 4 Honda's over the past 15 years), but are completely fed up with the games being played. Problems range from being overcharged by Service, fighting to get our money back, surprise charges like $250 just to diagnose what is wrong with your car, and the latest is my 2025 Honda Pilot (purchased in December) has a faulty foam buffer between the dash and windshield. It stuck onto my windshield sun visor and pulled partially out. Ocean Honda tried charging me over $900 to fix this - said it's not covered under warranty. I asked the manager to call me, but to no avail. And the technician told me the Service Manager made the call to charge me on it! So ... what Honda is really telling the customer (me) is that I bought a $60k vehicle that I can't even do something as simple as put a sun visor in without running the risk of incurring huge bills (even when the car is under warranty). Will never bring my vehicle to this Honda again. And I just e-mailed corporate to unfortunately inform them of not only these problems, but also that the terrible car-buying experience (at Brandon Honda - they are unethical, too) and service department experiences at Ocean Honda have convinced us to never buy Honda again.

Will not deal with this place again ! I am a disabled Veteran who has to travel to St.Pete every day ,60 miles round trip.After driving a 2023 HRV for about 2 weeks,I found it was too low to the road and had a lot of road noise.So I already traded in my 2019 Chevy Colorado and $1000.00 down. When I went back to try and exchange the HRV for something higher off the road ,they said it was too early in the deal to trade off but if I came up with more money ,they could work something out. So feeling like they were trying to squeeze me I was forced to keep a car that I really did not want ! And don't ever Thank a Veteran like myself for my Service because your Thanks is very shallow when you try to take advantage of a Veteran.Its guys like me that served Our Country that gives You the freedom to rip people off.
