Write a reviewThis was my worst car buying experience in my 35 year history of buying cars. My mistake was trusting the dealer. First, I placed a deposit on a credit card to hold the vehicle. Then I sent a check for the full amount. For about 3 weeks they held my check, the deposit and the car without sending me the title. They finally returned my deposit...but I essentially called every day. During that time I tried to cancel the transaction and get out of the sale. They refused. The car arrived to my house with a blown head gasket. I figured this out 7 days and $1200 later (trying to get it fixed on my own. I tried to take advantage of the warranty they supposedly supply on the sale of every car. The warranty didn't cover this issue, so after complaining they'd sold me an undriveable car, they agreed to pick it up and haul it back to south Florida for repairs. The only repair for this issue is an engine replacement or rebuild. Johana Miranda (my contact person) told me they rebuilt the engine. They didn't. The car arrive back at my house 3 months after I bought it with the same check engine codes. The local mechanic proved to me that Auction Autohouse didn't even loosen the bolts it would take to fix the vehicle. They continue to say they repaired it. Throughout the process communication has been terrible, and mostly dishonest. On several occasions I asked them to refund my money and take the car back. They refused. The general manager went so far as to tell me that was illegal..."all the way up to the supreme court." Like I'm stupid enough to think there is a Federal law barring car dealers from buying cars back.My biggest problem is the misrepresentation of work done. They did nothing. I would encourage any customer to avoid this dealer at all costs. This has been 5 months of headaches...and financial loss.
